Summary:
The rain was falling hard outside, like falling bullet casings slamming against the tomb holding me in. I was going to be here for a while... I came prepared. Cold against leg my weapon concealed.

Yes the great film noir feeling of Max Payne is alive and well in this return of our favourite dirty cop. For those not in the know, Max Payne was a third person action shooter set in a twisted city of decay and deception sporting one of the coolest features of the time... bullet time. With twin barrettas in hand you could re-live your favourite matrix moments as you dove for cover and let loose a whole lot of hell.
Max Payne 2 packs in more of the same with a similar punch. If you enjoyed the first then you'll love the second with a return of some great characters and plot lines, if not, then expect an action packed though short lived bullet fest. There is enough here to warrent a $50 purchase and as far as third person shooters go this is one of the better ones.

Summary:
This was pretty fun. I played MP 1 on my PC and didn't try the Xbox version. But MP2 was pretty good.
Like the previous reviewer I did complete the game pretty quickly which was pretty disappointing. That's why the "4."

Summary:
Max Payne's name is cleared and he is back working for NYPD. He follows the call for shots heard in the warehouse and ends up in a new adventure. The game is a great rental, I was able to pass it in 6 hours. It doesn't seem short or anything, but its not too difficult on the easy setting and you can pass it in one day with the game still being fun to play. The story line is actually worth listening througn and there is plenty of humor, violence and sex. The game would get a 5 from me, if I didn't pass it in one day. However it is definately worth coming back to several times because its so much fun to play. It is the best rental I ever had. So if you really loved the first one go ahead and buy it because you will come back and play it again and again. If you did not like Max to begin with, stay away!
I would give it 5 stars, but the fact that I was able to pass it so quicks drags it down.
