from EB Summary: The rain was falling hard outside, like falling bullet casings slamming against the tomb holding me in. I was going to be here for a while... I came prepared. Cold against leg my weapon concealed.
Yes the great film noir feeling of Max Payne is alive and well in this return of our favourite dirty cop. For those not in the know, Max Payne was a third person action shooter set in a twisted city of decay and deception sporting one of the coolest features of the time... bullet time. With twin barrettas in hand you could re-live your favourite matrix moments as you dove for cover and let loose a whole lot of hell.
Max Payne 2 packs in more of the same with a similar punch. If you enjoyed the first then you'll love the second with a return of some great characters and plot lines, if not, then expect an action packed though short lived bullet fest. There is enough here to warrent a $50 purchase and as far as third person shooters go this is one of the better ones. Report this review >>
