Summary:
This game is fun if you are a One Piece fanatic. If you are, this game will be perfect for you. Familiar characters like Luffy, Zoro, etc., and familiar stages like arlong park, will excite fans as they are revealed before their eyes. I personally am a major One Piece fanboy, so this gaming expirience was highly satisfying

Max Payne

Review by Steven Pyott

Max Payne was big on the PC and now it is out for the X-box. This version promises to be as good as the PC version and it does, with no bull, no excuses, and no compromises. Max Payne delivers edge of seat game play with a long graphic story with full of twists.

When I first played Max Payne on the X-Box I couldn’t stop off it for just one second, it got me completely hooked on it. The first Max Payne is that good that I would definitely go out tomorrow, buy a copy of Max Payne 2 and play on it all day.

Max Payne is a must for serous gamers and it should be in everybody’s collection of games. Max Payne is a must buy game. Buy it now!

Summary:
You are standing there in your house, people with guns in the other room, your wife and son on the ground dead, your body fills with anger and saddness and right then and there you realize someone has to pay for this. This my friend is just part of the intense storyline that is Max Payne. Max payne is a breathtaking game with smooth, well thought out graphics and gameplay. The controls on this game take awhile to figure out but when you do you will realize how well done they were. The game features 10+ weapons all with there own special plus and minuses. With a click of a button you can enter slow motion were you can dodge bullets and watch people fall to the ground in a matrix type mode. Max Payne consist of 3 differant parts of the game with 6 to 8 chapters in each. Some chapters are easy and some are extremely hard. Another plus for this game is you will not beat it in a couple of hours like some games, it takes quite a while to beat. Now lets talk about graphics. If you sit there and actually look and the faces of the characters you will see how amazing they look. On the other hand most of the objects in the background ( buildings cars ) look blurry or blocky. That isnt very important thoe, in other words this game has good graphics but I feel the xbox can handle a lot more. The sound in this game is pretty good, the guns sound spectacular and the voice acting is good. The overal score of this game would be 98 out of 100. In other words if I was you I would gather up some money and go buy this awesome game for only $17.99.

If you loved the James Bond Games than you'll love Max Payne, heck even if you dont like James Bomd, and your a halo fan it dosnt matter because max payn tops all of the shooting/adventure games. the beast 3rd person game to hit the shelves. you play as Max an ex New York Cop who is out to seak revenge form a mob that killed his wife and daughter.the game is him telling you a story of what has happened. Running from the law now Max needs to out trick his way to get his hands on the one who killed his loved ones. with the slow mo buttion you can doge bullets and watch the oter guy fall to his death. when max reaches the end of the story this is also the ending of the game.

Summary:
This game is well worth the money. I picked it up for only 17 bucks! The story is ok. They try to make it deep although I find it too simple (they kill your family so you seek revenge and don't care about your life or others).

you will die many cheap deaths. This is my main grip about the game. For example enemies will come out of no where and blow you off with a shot gun. Also the mysterious grenade that comes at you out of nowhere and you die instantly. This happens offen when you encounter bad guys. How can they throw a grenade at you but then start shooting? Snipers that shot at you but you can't see them. this is before they even give you the sniper rifle.

The level where the building is on fire and blowing up is where you will die dozen of times. It is based on trial and error which is stupid. The dream level is also real stupid. All you do is wonder around till you find a way out.

This version is better then the pc. The mouse is hard to use for this game.

The game does have it's flaws. But there aren't many good xbox games and since you can pick it for $20(or less) you should check it out. If I had to pay $50 i wouldn't have bought it.
