Summary:
For those who watched the movie and thought it sucked play this game! Vin Diesal has proved he's worth a damn after helping the production of this game. It is original, funny, captivating and most importantly it is violent and bloody, something the tame movie was not.

Summary:
TCOR is one of those games that comes out of nowhere, but manages to raise the bar for games of its type. The game shines because it borrows elements from many games and puts them together in a way that keeps the player entertained throughout. The only disappointment is that like a good movie, it's over too soon, taking only about 10 hours to complete the first time through. Fortunately, there's enough here to warrant a second play through, so this one is definitely worth picking up if you have any interest in console shooters.

Summary:
Believe the Hype: CoR:EFBB is the genuine article, a groundbreaking FPS that demonstrates that a title based on a big-budget summer blockbuster can indeed be a great game. The overall quality of this title is very high and reflects a real commitment on the part of Starbreeze Studio and Vin Diesel to deliver an alternative to the rushed, "cash in on the moment" approach that tends to make so many other licensed games disappointments. Graphically, the game stands alone among X-Box titles and it looks to give even Doom 3 a run for its money. The voice acting is top-notch and gives the game a unique kind of dark humor that goes well with the prison setting. The only gripes I have are rather minor: the checkpoint save system can sometimes be frustrating, and some of the side quests can be difficult to figure out and may require consulting a walkthrough. But overall, if you're an X-Box owner this game has got to be in your library, or you're missing out on what the console was designed to offer when it was a gleam in Bill Gates's eyes four years ago.
