Summary:
When this game was being previewed, I thought it was a great idea that would either be a phenomenal ground-breaking game or a huge flop. Guess which one it was? Basically, there is still a great core idea to this game, but the execution at pretty much every phase was botched. Every possible mistake was made. Why make a game like this absolutely linear? There should be several ways to escape any given prison, why is it that there's really only one? Boring! The environments are limited to these camps. They should be fully interactive. They are not. Stealth-based games need to have precise controls. This one does not. The characters are stereotypes, especially the HORRIBLE voice acting on the part of the Germans who sound like refugees from Hogan's Heroes. There is nothing to like and a lot to scratch your head over.

Price Paid:  $47.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
When I walked up to the electronic sliding door, above it had a large yellow sign. "Best Buy" is where I purchased this very game. This has got to be the most impressive non-violent game. This game shows the true idea of the quote "Brains over Brawns". You are captured by the Germans, and sent into a German confinement camp. It is your duty to sneak around, asking other prisoners to plan out your excape. Your mind in the game is set to excape from a certain prison that you started out from. It is truly a challenging game, nothing about it is easy, the Artificial Intelligence are simply made to do one thing. If they spot you, they will call on other gaurds to catch you.

Think it's easy, not so far. You are also given a schdule for the day. Basically like Morning Roll Call, Breakfest, Excercise Field, Lunch, and etc. If the gaurds spot you working on something out of your schdule, they will catch you and send you into a confinement prison hall. You need to avoid gaurds as much as possible.

There are also a real-time weather effect surrounding your prison. As days go by, weathers change, actually making your goals harder. There are also differental changes, such like at evening time. The gaurds will use flashlights and the tower gaurds will use the spotlight to observe the area. If you are under his spotlight, a whistle will be called as many other gaurds will observe the area where you were first caught.

It isn't easy at all, but you will accomplish the missions if you think carefully and be observational.

Summary:
This game is the most frustrating game I have ever played. The idea that the game is based on sounds fun and exciting, but the game is actually very frustrating and boring!! I think this game had potential if the gameplay was sped up somehow and you were given more clues or tools to be able to complete each "mission".

Summary:
You are a prisoner in a Concentration camp, and your job is to perform stealth like moves to try and escape the camp, and destroy the "Super Weapons" made by the Germans by ANY Costs. Setting is in World War II, there is voice acting, the whole 9 yards.

Summary:
This game is the first to allow players to play as a POW=Prisoner of War, It takes place in the Era of WWII and Has lots of gameplay to it.. The objective for the most part is to escape camp which in some ways can be almost impossible.. Especially when its a German Camp. The journey begins right here on the Xbox with Codmasters Prisoner of War.

note: When I saw POW in the next parts its refering to the title of the game.
