Description
James Cameron’s Dark Angel is a 3rd person action adventure game, with emphasis on stealth and fighting, based on the hit TV series of the same name. Price Paid:  $15.00 from FUNCOLAND

Summary:
Thank God for a 7 day return policy. I took it back the next day. Of the worst games you can buy for your X-Box, this stinker tops the list. I realy wanted to like this game, it looked pretty, but control problems and over all anoyance was too much. If you find youself in posession of this horrible game, here are a few options to have some actual fun with this. You can use it as a frisby, or a coaster, or trade it to a kid dumber than you for a fun game, or even put it in the microwave and watch the sparks fly!

Price Paid:  $1.00 from Off a kid, he was bleeding

Summary:
This game is off the chain. A guy at Walmart told me it was a great action/adventure game, so I ran across the street to Electronics Boutique and bought it at full price. Later that night I sat back and watched Jeopardy. My mom makes me shave her legs, ew gross. I worked on my resume a bit, you know I model, I once did an ad for kids with overbites. Anyhow later that evening I was working out, lifting up baseball cards, I was up to picking up two simultaneously when I fell asleep. That morning I woke up and found out my father stole the game from me and sold it for marijuana. Then I went to the pawn shop and found out this kid had bought it for $2, so I offered him twice as much for it back. That was the best dollar I ever spent.

Summary:
How did this TV series fail?
Come on, if Jessica Alba wearing tight, revealing clothes and using matrix ripped off martial art moves every week can't get ratings, then this is a world I will never understand.
I'm being sarcastic, but only a little. This was a fun show. I miss it, and I never miss canceled shows.
It was criminally negleted even though, strictly for its target audience, it was well done.
It wasn't perfect, but it still delivered in a airheaded fun action movie kind of way. Yet no one cared.
And that kind of sums up this game. If you raised your nose to this show by not 'getting it', then you won't 'get' this game either.
Talk about a game perfectly mirroring it's license!
The fact that this game was released at Xmas, amid too many great games, doomed it to go unnoticed. And that's not fair. Exactly like the show.
It has the stars doing thier own voices, a huge amount of fighting moves rivaled only by the Buffy game and a involving plot to fans of Dark Angel, along with its dry humor.
It's not perfect. It is rough around the edges, but it's still more fun than 95% of these action type games.
But I stress that this is the Xbox version. The PS2 version is awful. The Xbox is ten times better in every way, be it graphics, sound or controls.
If you're a Dark Angel fan, this is a great farewell piece to the series. If not, rent it first, but don't be suprised when it's better than you were expecting.
$50 is steep, but when this drops to about $30 you'll more than get your money's worth.
