Summary:
Azurik is an action/rpg game which relies heavily on exploration, but with some combat and puzzles thrown in for good measure. Any fan of exploration games (like Tomb Raider, Shadowman, etc) will be immediately at home with this, but if you prefer your exploration in small doses, you'd best look elsewhere. To say this game is huge is an understatement...it is larger then any game in this genre that comes to mind and will take some serious commitment to work through, especially considering the game does little hand-holding and relies on the player simply wandering around to figure things out. With some commitment, however, it proves to be an absolutely immersive and rewarding experience that will keep you busy for weeks, if not months on end. Any fan of exploration games would do well to pick this one up

Summary:
Azurik is the last of the Lore Guardians. A traitor kills your master and shatters the realm discs. It is up to you to retrive the disc fragments before he does. If you like long action games, you might like it, but some events will get you screaming for a refund!

Summary:
You play as Azurik, a young lore guardian who's job is to protect the elemental disks of Perathia. The 6 disks are Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Life and Death. The people of Perathia believe that if any disks are missing then danger will fall upon them. Sure enough the death disk has been missing for 500 years. When another guardian, Balthazar, finds the disk, he gets possessed by the Death guardian. He then tries to steal the other elemental disks but is seen by Azurik and Elwin, the guardian master. Balthazar then takes on Azurik and Elwin. During the battle Elwin dies and Balthazar escapes without the disks. However all of the elemental disks are shattered and the pieces are spread to different parts of Perathia. It is up to you, Azurik, to recover the pieces and restore Perathia.

Summary:
I think this is a very good game. I am not sure why people continue to bash this game. The graphics are very good, gameplay is good, sound is ok. I am an oldschool gamer. This game reminds me of Zelda on the NES - there is no clear direction that you go (non linear gameplay) and you actually have to use you noodle!
