Summary:
Timesplitters 2 is taking up all my gaming time on the Xbox. Its massively fun in any of its numerous mulitplayer and singleplayer game modes, but as a varied package of blasting fun this is hard to beat.

PC owners may remember the sheer delight of playing Unreal Tournament (the original one) for the first time. The slick feel, the fast paced gameplay and the mass of game options to keep things fresh are also attributes easily awarded to TS2. Added to all that, the sheer variety in the maps, weapons and characters really lifts this title above the competition.. I simply can't praise it enough.

Yes the characters are cartoony.. but not in a cutesy way (more like a graphic novel), and some of them are pretty damn funny. The animation is superb and although theres no blood or gibs, the highly slapstick death animations more than make up for it. Gunning down a roomful of foes in TS2 is just as gratifying as it damn well should be.

If you like shooters and find the likes of Wolfenstien, Halo and Unreal Championship are a little too straight faced in their delivery, this is an absolute no brainer. You get loads of game for your money and its all good. The Xbox needs more games like this.

Summary:
"first halo,now this???"

Timesplitters 2 is the type of game that parents will buy for their children because it contains no blood. Its like,Johnny its okay for you to kill (videogame characters)people, but mommy doesn't want you to see any blood. God forbid that I buy you a fps with a little blood in it.

Vote Joe Lieberman for president and this is what all games will be like; censored, bloodless bores, that forget that there are plenty of adult gamers that don't want to have to play what 'Joe' or 'mommy' thinks is best for them.

If you like clean, censored games that Joe Lieberman would be proud of then by all means buy this game, just don't buy it for me. (I took my copy back)

Summary:
This is a game I would really recommend to anyone. This is a very soild game despite the fact that the story mode is quite short. What I like about the story mode was no matter if you picked easy at the start you had the option everytime to change the diffuculty. Simplistic in one way but still manages to be entertaining. The story mode aside, there is still alot to do, from the many challenges to the great multiplayer aspect. There is even a mapmaker to create your own game. To be honest I really haven't gone in to that very much but I'am sure it will only add to an otherwise great game.

Summary:
This is a good shoot 'em up. On the different levels you play in different times and places with different characters and this keeps it interesting.
The weird thing about this game is that the multiplayer death match part of the game is actually MORE fun then the game itself. Most shooters offer this multiplayer death match sort of thing but generally there are just a few areas and very few types of matches, some don't even bother with bots.
Well this game's got it ALL! Many areas(unlockable when succeeding in arcade mode) many characters available as playable and bot (unlockable) and many different games (ditto) that allow you and your friends to play vs or as a team -with the ability to customize you can make your own perfect game.
It's simply the best multiplayer experience I found yet. I prefer to play with friends rather than alone. I would really like to see more of this type thing done with the shooters.

Summary:
Average. Nothing new, nothing bad, nothing great. It's worth a rental, I suppose, but don't buy it unless you have a bunch of friends with Xboxes and you can hook 'em all up and go nuts with the multiplayer option. It's not a great single-player experience.
