Summary:
Greatest fighting game ever created. The Xbox version is absolutely the best, no doubt about it. Controls are the tightest, graphics are the best.

I never understood why so many people hold Virtua Fighter 4 to be deeper. Maybe in graphics and customization. But Virtua Fighter's moves and fighting are crap compared to the moves in Soul Calibur. The moves are all the same in VF.

Weapons master mode is much better than the tournament mode in VF4e as well.

The only complaint I have about SC2 is that the storyline in weapons master mode sucks, don't bother reading the story in between fights.

Summary:
This is the easiest summary I'll ever write: SoulcaliburII is the best fighting game on the xbox since DOA3.

It gets all the funadamentals right: Lots of varied characters, unlockable chars and costumes, pretty graphics, extreme violence and slick controls that are at the same time easy to pick up and 'button mash' but also have enough depth for you to invest some time into their mastery.

Recommended, doubly so if you like fighting games.

Price Paid:  $50.00 from EB

Summary:
Phenomenal graphics, super sound effects, unequaled gameplay and life-sucking addictive qualities are what we've come to expect from Namco's Soul Calibur. The sequel for X-box does not dissapoint and adds new characters, game modes and the crispist, most colorful visuals found on any home console. The depth of each character in terms of their moves and fighting style will keep hardcore gamers busy for months. The game isn't perfect (ahem, Weapon Master) but all in all this is fighter we X-Box addicts have been waiting for since DOA3 was released. Make sure you warn your family/friends/loved ones before buying: they may not see you for some time.

Summary:
I thought that this game was very beautiful. I also love the weapons master area where it is almost like a regular game. I have never played soul edge or soul caliber 1 but i guess since i haven't played those I have nothing to base this one off of. All I have to say is that it's better than Mortal Kombat on the sega. That bicycle move was getting too old.

Summary:
SC2 is a great game but lacks the depth of Virtua Fighter4 for the PS2 the weapons master mode gets old really quick and besides that theres nothing else to do in this game namco should have included an online option after playing this game for a week you will be bored. The original Soul Caliber on the dreamcast is a much better game.
