from GameStop (Formerly B Summary: PROS: The Gameplay feels the same except for some new tricks and you don't need a Memory Card on this, since you have a hard drive, and you can import your own music! How about some new Rap, or even some Techno music!?
CONS: The Park Editor...LACKLUSTER!!!
OVERALL SUMMARY: This game is the furth succesful installment of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, and it just does not get old to me. But this time, things are different. Instead of getting you in to a time limit to complete goals, you are put in a gigantic level where you are to talk to people to obtain goals. This allows more freedom for players in case if they want to accept the goal, or decline to go into another player. However, you do need to complete goals to advance. You have to complete 8 goals each to unlock another level.
The cash concept is back. You buy extra goodies, movies, and music with the cash.
You have the create-a-skater option, where you can create anything from a regular white person, to a frenzy mohawk dark-skin person. You also have a Park-editor.
But the Park Editor is what upsets me. This is the reason where I had to take one point off the OVERALL value. It's the same park editor that you get on the PS2 Tony Hawk 3. Come on, This is an X-Box! I want to create huge parks, even put letters in, as well as putting in people in the game for my own goals.
But otherwise, it's another successer in the Tony Hawk chapter. Hope for those improvements when Activision releases Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 6, after Tony Hawk's underground! Report this review >>
