Summary:
I didn't even know about this game until it came out. I go to Activision's site once and a while mainly just trying to find release dates for upcoming games. However this game is really awesome. Anyone who is into hawks, hoffman, slater, ect ect would definetly be doing themselves a favor in getting this game even for 50 bones. I haven't unlocked every level, but so far they have all been well put together and layed out nicely with secrets and lots of possibilities for some sick combos. Right off the bat one thing that I really liked was the way this game handles level progress. Each level is broken down into three different groups. You have objectives which are like hawk/hoffman, and you have chalenges which are different every level, and each level has a huge list of gaps to perform. Another cool thing is thiers mutiple paths throughout the levels. If you move through an arrow the boat is going to go a different course for part of the level, enabling you to find gaps or other objectives that arn't reachable on the main set course. The graphics are pretty good, everything about the water graphicly is really badass, and the player models animations seem to always be decent and smooth with good transitions. The soundtrack is really awesome too which is a pretty usual thing with Activision 02 games, theirs probably about 13 songs and you can throw I think another 9 or so from the hard drive on to that. Most importantly though the game is fun to play and there seems to be alot of replay value. Also the goals are a little more chalenging which is definetly a good thing, because it makes it that much more fun. Like I said if your into the other Activision games definetly get yourself a copy, your be glad you did.

Summary:
I've been watching the pics for this game for months hoping it would be the new king of the pack for board riding. Well this baby is a mixed bag plain and simple. Is it worth a buy? Maybe/Probably. Is it revolutionary? Not by a long shot. The game could have used some cool features in the previous games that aren't there one especially is the instant replay or differn't camera angles.
