EA Sports MVP Baseball 2003 X Box Sports Review

EA Sports MVP Baseball 2003

Description
MVP Baseball 2003 from EA Sports is the most authentic and comprehensive baseball game on the market. With an all-new look and feel, MVP Baseball 2003 redefines what a baseball simulation should look and play like. Featuring true-to-life baseball gameplay, MVP Baseball 2003 sets the standard for player animations, franchise mode play, game depth, and more. It also delivers the excitement and drama of baseball?s defining moment -- the pitcher-batter showdown. The pitcher can make mistakes and fail to execute, just like real baseball. And with a more intuitive batting model, you have more control to slap a single the other way, drill an extra-base hit down the line, or blast a hanging curve into the bleachers. Step up to the plate and deliver with the game on the line in MVP Baseball 2003.

Summary:
i'm a very avid gamer that likes strategy and depth to a game and even though these off-name titles aren't very good most of the time, this one kinda caught my eye. I thought ASB would be the best game by far, but this game really surprised me. I love the ultra-realistic games but don't like the games that are too cartoony and arcadey, but this game was right in the middle. It is very fun and though i only rented it for a couple days, I would say it has definite replay potential.

This is a great game for baseball fans who understand the game and are not looking for arcade play. If you take the time to figure out the features that are not discussed in the booklet or training video, you will be in love.

Summary:
I rented the game at blockbuster last week, i really didnt want to take it back, im an avid baseball player all my life, and demand realistic gameplay and graphics, this is the best there is, im buying it this weekend. the sound, homerun celebrations, everything is awesome. they need to have more characters for create-a-player! i dont like wher you dont have any day games during the season, they may need to do something about that!! incorporate weather, and dofferent times of day, and that will be wonderfull, a great first game for EA, solid come back and i look forward to next years with these few minor bugs worked out, with this game, EA is my new baseball supplier!!!

Summary:
Overall MVP is an awesome game! I just bought it two days ago and plan to play it much more. I love MVP's baserunning, hitting, and pitching features. The game's basics are easy to catch onto and there is a good challenge in mastering the game and becoming an All-Star.
