Summary:
Simply put, this is the best, and most complete baseball game ever created, hats off to EA. The pitcher/batter interface is amazing. Hitting is fun and challenging, as is pitching. This is the first game I can remember where if you miss your spot on a pitch, you get penalized....like real baseball. Also the pure swing system is great. Once you get used to it, you never want to put down the controller. The graphics are good, but could be improved....the player animations, faces, and the physics of their movements is perfect, but the stadiums and crowds could be improved. The only thing i can find wrong with the game is that it isnt available online for xbox, which i could care less because i have enough fun running my dynasty. Game tunings allow you to tweak the game to the way you like to play, and the different difficulty levels play just like they should. Simply put...the best baseball game EVER, and it will be better than ESPN

Summary:
I have already submitted a review, however after having more time with the game I feel that I can submit a more detailed review of the best console baseball created.

Here are some items I would like EA to consider adding to next year's game:

1) Real scoreboards--The current scoreboards are brutal. Appears to be the only holdover from Triple Play. I want to see inning-by-inning scoreboards that are up to the minute. Use the hand-operated boards in Boston and Wrigley.

2) More home run animations. Curtain calls, player reactions, pitcher reactions, etc.

3) Real managers who argue calls based on their emotion level. Joe Torre is calm and cool. Lou Pinella...Well, I think you get the point.

4) Option to have your pitcher throw from a windup or stretch with a runner on third. Add a rating that shows a pitcher's ability to pitch from the stretch versus the windup. Dontrelle Willis pitches better from the stretch versus the windup..etc.

5) Cold, rain, heat...This do effect gameplay.

6) Add more attire options for cold / warm weather.

7) Classic teams ('84 Tigers, '86 Mets, '74 A's, '19 Sox)

8) More classic uniforms ('86 Red Sox road uniforms, '84 Tigers road uniforms, '86 Mets blue uniforms, '80 White Sox, complete with shorts...)

9) Choice of hat, shirt and pants. Let me create an ugly uniform appearance, ala Pittsburgh)

10) Bring back the home run derby with the tagets...That was hella fun.

11) Custom tracks to be used for at-bat intro music. That would be awesome.

12) During simulation have a radio personality call the action. (Ernie Harwell....Hmmmmmm)

13) Have classic PA announcer sounds when playing in classic stadums--Think echo)

14) Grass stains...Love the dirt but need some grass....

15) Pine tar?

16) Louisville Slugger bats....

17) Show home run balls enter McCovey Cove, bounce off facades, etc.

18) All-time records that can be broken.

19) Choice to play in an open or closed roof where the stadiums boast retractable roofs.

20) XBox Live.....

21) Base coaches

22) Mascots

23) Closer entrance songs (where available)

24) Single A clubs (Lansing Lugnuts, Dayton Dragons).....

25) College teams...
