It's a brand new ballgame! Inside Pitch 2003 delivers all the hard sliding, barehanded, grand slam action of the majors! Make a homerun-robbing snag at the wall to retire the side. Summary:
First off don't believe all the bad press this game has gotten! True it's not loaded with front end options and if your looking for a game that deals with player contracts and bugets then your barking up the wrong tree! You can't play more the one season but then again how many people really wanna play or have time to play a ton of seasons. The game does have a fantasy draft option which even MVP2003 does not have and the game is a overall fun game. It's baseball pure & simple like it should be! I don't know how the online part of it plays because I can't afford it but as one player games go it can be somewhat challenging & fun. I don't have Xbox live but I really like it so that should say something. The A.I. is alright. Meaning you won't be blown away by it but I have played all the other games out so far this year and to be honest even MVP2003 makes some very bonehead calls. The game does take a step back in baseball gaming not being able to play continuing seasons but it's somewhat of a selling point for me! I love how you can create your own player and train him! Thats so COOL! All in All a very fun game but probably the least deepest of this year.

Though I haven't had an opportunity to rent the finished version of IP, playing the demo shows potential for future IP releases.

Summary:
I had been waiting for this game to comeout for a long time, since this was the only on-line baseball game for the xbox. WHAT A MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT!!! I should have learned my lesson from past Microsoft games in the past(fever, inside drive) I can't figure out how Mirosoft can make such a great comsole and losy brand games? Unless you are looking for just online play, skip this one.

Summary:
Better than you've heard. A couple of reviews have lambasted IP 2003 as a waste of money and developmental resources on the part of Microsoft, but I think they knew what they were doing. It's a good first outing, with a very different feel from the other baseball games this year, and the online component can't be ignored, although most professional reviewers have chosen to.

Summary:
Don't listen to the reviews if you have Xbox Live. If your not online then MVP is your choice for some fun baseball. If it's franchise mode your looking for then WSB is your game. Frankly, I;m sick of playing against the CPU and for me there is no exerience like playing head to head. Yes, this game has major faults but it becomes a strategic game of cat and mouse when pitted against a real live human opponent. This game is fundamental baseball. The pitcher batter confrontation is nerve wracking and your always trying to guess the location and pitch.
