This is the best console racer of 2004, offering great graphics, truly fun gameplay, and a deep and varied series of racing campaigns that will appeal to every gamer, not just rally racing fans. There are four difficulty levels, so you can pick up and play a season's worth of races and get used to the gameplay without encountering the grinding, repeat-till-you-drop frustration of other racing titles. Once you feel comfortable with your handling of the cars in the initial seasons, you can graduate to more involved racing sessions that will challenge you, but not have you tossing your controller at your TV. With only a 56K modem I obviously can't comment on XBox Live online multiplayer, but the single-player and (multiple controller) multiplayer aspects of RSC:2 make it a game every XBox owner should think about having in their collection.
