Pearson Outlaw Golf X Box Sports Review

Pearson Outlaw Golf

Description
Competition is fierce and caddies are in constant mortal danger as you beat them with your iron to raise your spirits and lower your score in this no-holds-barred golf game. With a hardcore physics engine that shows details from a blade of grass to the reflections seen in your club as it bounces off your caddy's head, Outlaw Golf features interference from other golfers, environmental hazards, and female caddies who tee your balls and hold your wood. Outlaw Golf, it's a full-contact sport!

Summary:
This game rocks. You can get it for less than 20 bucks at EB and it will have you busting a gut. The characters are a riot, El Suave the Menudo poster boy, Ice Trey the sterotypical wigger, and Trixie the hot preppy suburbanite are a few of my favorites. What this game gives you is a challenging realistic golf engine coupled with a hilarious cast of misfits who just happen to know how to swing a club.

A Hot Shots Golf 3 wanna be that just isn't anywhere near as fun to play as real golf (or HSG3 for that matter).

Summary:
Outlaw Golf is a really fun game that should not be passed up. It has great gameplay and graphics, pluss its pretty cheap to get. I got this game about 3 or 4 months ago and I still play it now. Now Tiger Woods 2003 might have way more golfers and courses, but OG shines in other areas.

Price Paid:  $10.00 from Blockbuster

Summary:
Nice diversion from playing Hot Shots 3. Can be extremely frustrating at times and is not as intuitive or fun as Hot Shots Golf 3 for the PS2. Limited number of courses makes the replay value limited. Buy only if less than $15.

Price Paid:  $25.00 from EB Games

Summary:
A good, fun arcade style golf game. Graphics are ok, gameplay is ok and sound is good. For $20-$25 range a good value to buy. I like the arcade concept in this game. The ladies are scantily clad, taunting your opponent is nice, beating down your caddie can be exciting. I like the "zone" meter - make a couple of shot and your "in the zone", miss a couple and your "in the gutter". The game has Tournament, exhibition and practice modes.
