SegaSoft ESPN NFL Football X Box Sports Review

SegaSoft ESPN NFL Football

Description
You feel that deep breath you take when you're staring down 80 yards of real estate, a six-point deficit and 1:31 on the clock. You feel the fear in the air that results from unblinkingly staring down a quarterback from your middle linebacker position. You feel that brief moment in time when the ball's in the air and all that fills your mind is the overwhelming need to drive your helmet through that receiver's rib cage. ESPN NFL Football brings the complete NFL experience. Whether it's by making an opponent lose his shorts from a stop-and-go juke, by scraping your toes down as you make an acrobatic first-down catch along the sideline, or by piling on top of a swarming gang tackle on fourth and short -- you will truly feel everything that makes the National Football League so intense. Don't look. Don't listen. Feel.

Price Paid:  $59.00 from EB Games

Summary:
In general, this is one of, if not the best, best NFL games ever. For all those die hard football fans, this is better than Madden. Actually, Madden's football games really arent that good at all. The overall gameplay is the best.

Summary:
this in my opinion is the best football game you can get. This game is better than the madden franchise with more options to choose in just about everything. It is worth the money!

Price Paid:  $30.00 from Target

Summary:
First off let me say that if you decide to buy this game go to Target if you have one near you. I couldn't believe they were $20.00 cheaper than everyone else.
This is by far the best football game I have ever played. I never thought anyone would catch up with EA's Madden franchise but Sega has not only caught them but (for this year at least) they have surpassed them. The presentation on this game is mind blowing. It's one thing to use the ESPN tag but to incorporate ESPN style presentation into the game the way they have is pure genius. I've played Madden 2004 on the GameCube before getting the Xbox and there's little that this game doesn't do better.

Price Paid:  $49.00 from GameStop

Summary:
I started playing computer football way
back in 1980. I have tried them all
including the new Madden 2004. I rented
Madden 2004 before I bought ESPN Football
2004. Madden is not a bad game but it just
seems like OLD Madden. I went out and
bought ESPN Football 2004 based upon the
reviews on this site. I will say what
others have said about this game..IT IS
THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER>>PERIOD !!

This is a football game that you will play
for a very long time to come. GO BUY IT NOW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Electronics Boutique

Summary:
ESPN NFL Football is much improved over the previous two 2K versions. With improved gameplay, graphics and a heavy dose of ESPN this is the game to have this year.
