Price Paid:  $50.00 from EB Games

Summary:
NBA 2K3 has the right idea. It tries to simulate an NBA season and an NBA Game accurately. That is a good idea, but the game really faulters in many of the areas it tries to be good in. The players move sluggishly, the dunks suck, and the overall crazily loud stadium feeling that you get with NBA Live is just not there. The create a player mode is another issue that needs to be dealt with. To put it to you simply, it, like most of the other areas of 2K3, sucks. First of all, the socks choices you are given are not good. You can either have halfway long socks, middle length socks, or long socks. The players also have kankles (with no defined calf muscles).
Then you get to the shoes, and you discover that you have no choice. You have to wear these blue-light specials that look like absolute crap. Once you are done with create-a-player you get the feeling that you shouldn't have ever forked out a 50 for this crappy game. But wait! There's more!

Summary:
I almost didn't write a review for this game becuase I am not a basketball fan and I was barely learning the rules of the game. The other reason was that I was affraid becuase I was a novice too NBA Basketball my review might not have been fair. Yet, I LOVE Sega's World Series Baseball 2k3 and Madden Football, so I was confused too what didn't draw me in. Was it the video game or the actual sport?

Summary:
This game simply average,or at least that is what I would be saying if it didn't have a street mode. But still even with street mode, it is nothing special.Overall I would give it a three. It's not as good on Xbox axs on PS2 and Gamecube. Xbox's NBa 2K3 is the only version I wouldn't Choose over NBA Live

Summary:
First off Ive played NBA live 2003, NBA Inside drive and this game and this is the best of them all. The Franchise mode in this game is the deepest and the way its set up with an ESPN presentation is cool. The game itself is as realistic as a basketball game can get. While your playing it you feel like your watching a live telecast of a real NBA game on ESPN. The crowd gets really into the game and will even boo the home team if they arent doing good. If you like baskeball games I recommend this over any other title.

Summary:
It's fall once again and It's time for another exciting season of NBA hoops. Here we have Sega sports attempt and making the best basketball game. The graphics are very bright and clear the Gameplay is sharp and quick. The sound is average and we have all licensed teams and players go on to win the championship in June again. When I first got this game. I thought it was great Espically the dunks and colors and The Street court mode which is nice. I havent played a 2k game since 2k on the dreamcast and I was Glad to be able although I couldnt beat the computer for awhile it was a great game. The dunks are wild you do reverse under the legs and Two handed jams. I am not sure I seen them all but the dunks in here are wild espically if you got a guy with a good dunk rating. The sliders are very good at customizing your game just the way you want it. If you want a high paced fast break game or a slower low scoring game then this is the game you can do it on. You also have double teams and Pressure on your setting before the games. My favorite part is the tip off it's exciting and great the way you rebound the ball and it like goes around you is cool. I usally play this game on side view to get a better look of the court and players. This Game still gets player in my house the crossover needs some work though there's too much nba live sliding in it. but other than that. if you want a game that gives you a nba feel. and want to score with big dunks this is the game for you. if you get skilled you could run fast break on this game.
