SegaSoft World Series Baseball 2K3 X Box Sports Review

SegaSoft World Series Baseball 2K3

Description
World Series Baseball 2K3 marks the return of last year's must have Xbox baseball title. The "King Of Diamonds" returns stronger than ever and poised to make a run at a Yankee-like dynasty! And, just like the Bronx Bombers, WSB 2K3 spent the offseason improving what was already THE baseball franchise by adding an all-new ESPN broadcast presentation, more classic uniforms for every team, player-specific batting stances and pitching styles for Hall of Fame players, and historic ballparks. WSB 2K3's unrivaled gameplay gives you what you've asked for, including: a jump button for home run-robbing snatches and line drive-snaring grabs, user-controlled leadoffs, broken bats, drag bunts, improved double play animations, power swings, and more.

Summary:
All other baseball games hit the shower. WSB 2003 is off the map with good gameplay, incredible sound, but mediocre graphics. Nope everything in this game is spectacular

Summary:
Everyone before me pretty much summed it up. It is a gem of a baseball game. It is by far better than All Star Baseball series and high heat. I have yet to try the MVP or Inside Pitch. I am a fan of the franchise mode and this one will not disapoint.

Summary:
Most of this game is good. The graphics are top notch, the general manager system is good, and the gameplay for the mos part is ok. the bad is the flat out system glitches.

I was just playing the Astros. I hit a ball with Nomar, and somehow, Damon and Walker who are on 1st and 3rd start running. I signal for them to go back, they do not, and eventually both get out. Nomar then strikes out.

The NEXT inning - Nomar leads off. Wtf?

This has happened several times. I've also had the computer call in a substitute batter, and the guy who was in 1st base just DISSAPEARED. Like I said - occasional glitches. This, the fairly f#cked up fielding controls, and the questionable running skills weaken this game. I still like it, I still play it, and it IS good. But if they do not make drastic improvements to the glitches & fielding in this game, then I'm getting high heat next year
