Summary: this game is not just for guys. it's also for girls. i know, i know this game is perverted and it is. whoever buys this game, don't say you got it for the gameplay because you didnt. you got it for the sexxxy babes of dead or alive. this game basically used a guys weakness to sell and it worked. when you play this game you get ***ny and get turned on. there isnt nudity though, just christie's booty. they did that just for publicity. the girls like this game because of the dress up but that's it. this game is all about the babes. they take off all their clothes and have bikinis. a little volleyball but that's it. i enjoyed it because i myself am a pervert and like the bounce of the boobies it self.

Summary: I’ll make this review quick since its release dates back to January, but I felt that I should have some comment on this title since it’s been both hyped and lauded equally. Unquestionably, Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball has set the benchmark for both amazing graphics and fabulous character models as well as mind-numbing gameplay and the biggest excuses for flaunting skin. I’ve heard all the complaints and the acclaims. Simply, the best approach to playing DOAX is to treat it like an Xbox version of a Victoria Secret catalogue.
When you start up this game, don’t expect Splinter Cell excitement or a Halo story; definitely don’t expect Halo gameplay. Learn how to play just so you can earn money. And, of course, the only reason you want to earn money is to purchase the better (smaller) bathing suits. You’ll need 40 hours to “experiment” with all of the best suits (“experiment” = pool side + camera control) but you can start experiencing the bikini show immediately if you don’t want to make such serious time commitments.
Live Online multiplayer is not available on Live, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Tecmo offered downloadable content via Live at some point soon. Their method for offering additional content in the past has been through magazine CDs such as OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) or Xbox’s Official magazine. Microsoft’s push for Live content may influence Tecmo to move to a downloadable update.
Suggestions I have only one suggestion for DOAX: drop the volleyball but keep the girls and bikinis for DOA4. Please.
Conclusion I own Dead of Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball, but then again, I probably find playing a pair of string bikini girls against a pair of girls in just their underwear more fun than the average pervert. I guess if you like pairs of things, big, beautiful, round things, than this game might be for you.
Summary: To begin, I am not a big fan for Microsoft. Their operating systems for the PC use much processing power ane is inefficient. Because of their "special" license agreements, I am unable to install THEIR software on THEIR operating system without registering through an administrator...argh! And the same people that bring me these hazards bring me the X-BOX..eck! Enough about my struggles with MS products and onto the review.. I did not purchase this game. I played it for a few hours and became boggled down with a terrible gameplay and theme.
Summary: About seven weeks ago i wandered into my mates Computer and games shop , its only small , but i thought i might have a look for a new game for my xbox . After talk of Halo and all things vidoe gaming , the conversation soon turned to this game we had both heard alot about , and read in magazines ,,,dead or alive volleyball! The idea seemed odd to both of us , and on reading reviews in the australian xbox mags , we decided to get some in , one for me , one for him . I had already explained to my girlfriend about this one , doing my best to make it sound as tame as possible (not really what i thought at all). So the time came (a few days later) and it had arived at the shop . My friend described it to me with a sly smile and said "its not what you would expect yknow". Giving me the impression that it was totaly rubish , and that tecmo had basically used the DOA franchise with nudity to cash in . Needless to say i was worried , i had after all just spend a fair amount of cash on the thing . Then i got it home . To say that DOAX uses the whole "sex sells" bit , isn't an understatment , in fact , it does very much so. But underneath all of that is an awsome title , that after ten minutes (and a few grunts of dismay from said girlfriend) had captivated us both! The best way of describing this one is part dating sim , part sports title with some great item usage and collection ideas . I would still recomend you hire this first if your unsure about either genre . But once you play it once or twice , im sure you will apreciate just how well this game is both presented , and most of all plays!
And to make special note , My girlfriend finds playing it to be in no way offensive at all .
