Summary:
If you are a tactician/strategy fan (eg. I like chess), then this game is a must buy!!!!, especially at the low price point. The value for this game is simply outrageous, there are 9 maps to play (plus a few unlockable ones) and they take many hours to play, especially if you want to get all the secondary objectives I'm thinking at least 50 hours of gameplay. The replay value is enormous as you can tackle the maps any way you want (with stealth, with power etc.)and by an immence amount of ways (kill the enemies, tie them up, poison them trick them). If you can think of it you probably can do it in this game. As in chess you have 8 characters to choose from including a dog with different abilities (ok theres no dog in chess but youre pieces have different abilities), as well as being able to controll soem of the characters you'll meet in the beautiful maps. This is a thinking persons game and although you have an outrageous array or weaponry that can be very powerful, using youre noodle is a must. Simply an outrageous game with unlimited replay (multiplayer online would have made this one of the best games ever).

Summary:
If you like fiddly, time-consuming and extremely mentally challenging games, then you will love Commandos 2.
If not, you will probably die of boredom in the first hour. Luckly for me, I like the former.
A very good strategy game for a console that doesn't have enough of them. If you are the right sort of gamer for this game, it could seriously eat large chunks out of your free time.

Summary:
Extremely accurate and fun strategic war game. For those who usually play first person shooters, like me, it gave another aspect of the war other than running around by yourself and being able to take 20 bullets in your body without dying. ie Medal of Honor. This game as realistic kill shot for enemies and your commandos.

Price Paid:  $50.00 from EBX

Summary:
This is a very solid game with a lot of character, stealth, tactics, and strategy. If you enjoy those elements in a game, then you should probably be rewarded with a good game. After all, who doesn't enjoy wasting Nazis? Bear in mind, however, that this is an exceedingly difficult game. Controls will require a learning curve (I suggest going through all of the many tutorials) and even after the training missions, you will still be a bit overwhelmed for awhile. However, if you stick with it, the game is very rewarding. You have 9 characters to use throughout your mission and they have varying strengths and weaknesses, as one might expect. This leads to odd situations, like your thief being unable to kill helpless foes or use weapons, but if you can live with the video game technique to limit your characters and force teamwork, then it's ok. I cannot reiterate enough that this game is HARD. If that detracts you, you are best to avoid this game.
