Jack of All Games Conflict - Desert Storm X Box Strategy Review

Jack of All Games Conflict - Desert Storm

Description
Conflict: Desert Storm lets you lead one of the best known and most feared special operations forces in the world: the elite British SAS or the US Delta Force. Covert missions take you through hostile environments where only your expertise in stealth, tactics and firepower will ensure the success and safety of your men. Your missions are as unpredictable as they are dangerous: from vital scud-hunting missions deep within enemy territory to highly secretive rescue and assassination operations in Baghdad itself. As the first line of defense, your objective is clear: Protect Freedom.

Summary:
This is an awesome game. VERY REALISTIC. I was suprised to see gamespot.com give it only an average review. Gamespot says "there is no blood in this game". That is false!! There is blood when you shoot someone. And its cool because if you shoot a guy in the leg they will bleed from the leg or wherever you shoot them they will bleed. There is not massive blood like there probably would be in real life, but there is blood. I mean, how unrealistic would a war game be without blood. Gamespot also complains its too hard and time consuming to switch weapons and to heal yourself with the medkit. Well hello, if your a soldier in real life and you have to put on a bandage to heal a wound you can't just push a single button and have it done in 1 second. Just like in real life, even if your in combat, this game makes you reach into your backpack, scroll thru a list with recognizable icons and grab whatever you need from it. Its really not that hard but does take a few seconds as it should if you've been wounded and need to heal yourself. Gamespot also says that your fellow soldiers don't die. This is also false. Although you can keep healing your squad from major injuries if their health meter runs out, they will die if you don't get to them fast enuff with the medkit. Overall this is a very fun and realistic war game.

This game is totally rad. Me and my brother had a blast.Battling through the single player is fun but it's by far the best when you have some friends to play with. When we rigged up coop it told us all you need to know about the mission:spects, terrane, objectives and the best rout to take.It has a good story line and is totally real. The biggest hint i can give is BE PERSISTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary:
Overall this game is a very strong military based game that captures the realism of desert storm, and combines it with the fun style gameplay you want from any game. I have to say that out of Conflict, Socom, and Ghost Recon, this is by far the only one I will consider playing again.

Summary:
A great little game, filled with fun and tense situations. Fun multiplies exponentially in multiplayer. Just about as much fun as I've had with a game.
