The only poor characteristic about this game are the special moves.I still don't even know how I transformed into SSJ3 Gotenks. Some of the animation before the battle is really cool, but a few of the characters are made poorly; such as Frieza(especially).Other than that, I say this is the best Jap. DBZ game. Did you know that they have made an English version of this game. Infogrames remade it hopefully with different characters.(Release date is some time this year2003) Sound The sound is great. Although whatever Goten says when he flips in the air is pretty anoying.Gameplay The controls can be easily learned and if you ever played DB Final Bout, trust me the gameplay is 200% better.Would you like to Comment? Summary I enjoy this game alot, and if your a Dragonball Z fan you'll enjoy this game no question about it. I think it was too easy, everyone can be beaten real easy the only one truley hard was the games final enemy Kid Buu!Sound I truley liked the games music, voices, and special sound-fx. It's good, but the noise you get when your flying around really gets annoying after a while so I mostly play with the sound on low and crack up some tunes on my CD player. Don't get me wrong the sound in this game is almost perfect, couldn't be better just gets annoying for people like me who enjoys to relax to some heavy metal tunes and kick some ass DBZstyle!Gameplay Amazing, simply amazing. I enjoy playing this game because it puts you in that Dragonball Z mind set that your the strongest guy in the whole world and just beat the crap out of your opponents with some un-normal power. It's also an easy game to understand, button's are easy to pick up and easy to perform. I really enjoy this game alot, but it's got it's downside the meto attacks look great but there isn't enough of them. It really gets boring to watch the same meto attack over and over again, something that would of made this a better game would of been the meto(special) attacks done during gameplay and not after the balence bar battle is won. Still amazing, and in my mind the second best Dragonball Z game ever made.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary An outstanding game for its time. i would have said the game was an awesome game in 1997, but time has changed in a whole lot of ways. if you are a die hard dragon ball z fan, and know the Dragon Ball Z actors voices, and the different sounds that they only use. pluss sense i'm japanese i can refer to the game. i understand the game in Japanese, but i have a hard time understanding the English version.Sound sound is ok. the good thing i like about the game is how when you use special attacks you can here a character say the name of the attack. like goky when he says Kame.....Hame.....Haaaaaaaaa!!!! though Vegetas attacks sound really sucks. other than that the sounds is ok.Gameplay The Gameplay is cool if you play one on one. but it is different if you have characters sprung out accross the screen, which causes you to not really know whats going on on the screen. but other than that the game. Rocks!! gameplay wiseWould you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary I bought this game thinking it to be the best game I had ver played. It is not but close to the top of my list. However if you are not a DBZ fan you will not like this game. I am lucky I have a MOD Chip for my PS2 that allows me to play it.Sound There is no dicussion. It is in Japanese.Gameplay The controls do not take long to get used to. It does seem to make your thumb become tired quickly. The only problem is you cannot do Goku's Kameahmea Wave, Vegeta's Final Blast, etc. during gameplay.Would you like to Comment?
