Summary

This game is probably what lauched the gba craze. The graphics are awsome. The classic game. An advanced recreation of the old versions. But dont let that make you change your mind about this game. It kicks a**s. The best part were the replays.

Sound

The sound was O.K. The tunes went well with the enviroment, but they just didn't have that feel. But the game draws you away from that problem. The caracters voices, though rarely heard, were classics. Exept maybe Bowser. The zoom of the speed boost was good.

Gameplay

The controls are very simple. They are simple to master. Each caracter has their own traits. Bowser, Wario and D.K are fast but have slow acellaration, Toad, Peach and Yoshi have very fast accelaration and Mario and Luigi are balanced. The replays are a good part of this game. To bad theres no slowmotion. The items you can get with the question boxes work well and give you a good deal of help. There are speed boosts that are scattered around the race track that you can use. And each track has its own unique shortcuts and traps. You can play with coins or not. There is quick run, time trial, or tournament. One trick is to press the B button when you slide.

Summary

I love to play this game alot. It is fun and it keeps you intrested for hours. When your bored it is the best game to play. It is also very fun when you link up with a friend and race and play games with each other. Super Mario Kart is a good game to get if your not that great with video game sor if your oin the middle of beginner and intermidite. It's a great game to get.

Sound

There is joyful music in the backround while your racing. The music while your racing is choosen by the type of track you have. While your choosing all the things to setup music is also playing. When you get an item a jingle noise comes on and when you skid a loud skidding noise comes. When you win the race champion music comes on.

Gameplay

You have to race the other characters to get the 1st place trophe. You can race yourself against time or practice racing against the other characters. You get to pick the track you want to race on and the character you want.

Sound

The sound for the game is mediocre. There is really nothing that stands out but the music fits each level efficiently. The music appears to be from the NES version while the sounds, such as characters being hit by other characters objects, appears to be from the N64 version. Again you can see the conversion of both games into this one, which I believe is not only the best Mario Kart in the series but also one of, if not the best, game for GBA so far.

Gameplay

The game is very easy to pick up and play. The controls are very efficient and responsive and gives you a sense of complete control over your chosen racer. You can control speed, turning radius, braking time, etc...It's all there. The game itself is wonderful. There are 4 race packages that you are initiall allowed to play. Each package has 4 different tracks in it that each have their own dynamics and characteristics. As soon as you complete all four packages while winning 1 place overall in each package, it is rumored that you can unlock all the classic NES tracks which would add an even greater reason to come back and play again.

Sound

The sound isn't that great. I mean no one actually judges a game by it's sound. It's either you love and are humming along. Or your going to save some battery life and turn off the sound.

Gameplay

Like I said before this game is easy to beat. It is hard to find a game that has good graphics, good gameplay, and this game has been one of the first Gameboy Advance games and is still a hit. All the characters are of course all-ready famous in the video game world(like Mario, Donkey Kong ect.). There are 3 circuits to choose from 50cc (easy), 100cc (meduim), and 150 (hard). You will want to play this game over and over for months. It's just the perfect game for someone who wants just plain fun, not a long RPG, or a pinball game. I would really recommend this to someone just getting a GBA or there 1st game.
