Summary

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness finally goes out of it's shell and gives the true RPG-ish feel Pokemon players wanted for the past ten years.

You start off your journey with a cute little Eevee, but as you progress through the game, go to different places and meet new people, your collection of Pokemons will eventually expand by "snagging" pokemon's from your enemies.

This version of Pokemon is probably one of the best out there on the Gamecube, this is one of my favorites actually.

Strength

It has all the rights to be one of the top Gamecube RPGs.

GRAPHICS - Of Course, rendered in a full-3D environment, it's a colorful world with nice focus on details.

GAMEPLAY - It's quite addictive and it boasts an excellent two-on-two dueling system.

LIFESPAN - It's gonna last. There are over 80 Pokemons to search for, and it also has a GBA-link feature so you can battle out your GBA Pokemons with your friends... sweet ^^

SOUND - Orchestrated sound has always been one of the best sounds for RPGs... and this game never failed to include just that.

Weakness

However, there still are things that they missed...

GRAPHICS - Graphics in general may look cool for this game, but a more-detailed facial expressions for its characters may greatly increase its quality... The Gamecube's graphics is almost at par with the X-box so i'm sure that they can do better.

GAMEPLAY - As you go further you might experience that sense of boredom, you must not play ONLY this for consecutive days to avoid that feeling.

LIFESPAN - If you're not an RPG gamer-type then this mught not last too long for you, otherwise you'll love it beacuse it's a long long journey i tell you...

SOUND - If compared to the music of Wind Waker... or Fire Emblem, Pokemon XD loses it.
