Summary

Just like everything from 95-2005. We all know when the temperture lowers and the wind blows. That once thing in our life is certain another reiteration of live will be availble for retail. From Ea Sports the 10th edition in thd modern era of games is back. My review will discuss the game and what live means to me. Let us begin. If anyone had live last year. we can all agree live was boring. It was like a defensive struggle with nothing added really to ad-nauseum. This year that all changes the new superstar freestyle brings some spice to a somewhat off-year. There's 8 different freestyle superstars for offensive and defensive purposes. I will discuss some there's: Power player,Scorer, high flyer and playmaker. The graphics havent been updated but they look more glossy the muscle defintion on players look cheesy but it's just a glossy update nothing special the sounds include 5 time world champ Steve Kerr and Marv Albert. The Dynasty mode now includes hiring assistant coaches but nothing too drastic from last year. I will also add that throw back jerseys are now unlockable from the start. The soundtrack consist of reggaton and rap. I will conclude in saying that this year live is one good game all in all you will enjoy if your a fan of live.

Sound

The sound is great kerr and marv get repetive and say the same things after awhile. I love this game it's so many things I love about from the intro to the high flying dunks great job EA.

Gameplay

The gameplay is great as I have mentioned the freestyle superstars involve you pressing the Left trigger and using the face buttons from some awesome combinations. It is a good addition if used correctly. The gameplay is more high scoring but a lil defense but now the offense can overpower the defense and vice versa. Its great to see you dunking on someone with great physics. They brought back the old live gameplay for 2005. I had fun with this game it can get repetive as the game moves at a fast pace the freestyle I think still needs to be tweeked a lil more to add to a better expierence but the other things have improved shooting the trey and making mid-range shots is now possible. Live is fun all around good game with faults.
