Sound

The sound...The voice acting is super-awsome,the music is old stile and cool, not like heavy metal or the stupid 007 music. You can hear your heartbeat when hiding in a locker, the gunshots passing over your ears, the rain drops, and everything else. The music fits on your situation,if your seen by a guard youll hear fast and desperating music ,if you hide the music will calm down,if you are sneaking by the music will be low and alerting,etc...

Gameplay

Gameplay...You get to play as two different characters,Snake"the coolest bad ass" ,and Raiden"the confused idiot with a girly body"now you can see the difference between these two.I got really mad when i saw that you only get to play as snake for only a little while,so the stupid ass Raiden gets everything, like missile and grenade launchers, machine guns, explosives, handguns and a sword, while snake only gets two lousy handguns. The game could have been better if you could play with the sword in other missions, but hey,its a shooting game. You get to do almost aything you want like hiding dead bodies in lockers, knock on walls, hanging, swimming, shooting, crouching, fist fighting, using naughty magazines to distract horny bad guys, use a wall for cover, peaking, you can actually kill animals. One thing that caught my attention is when you go to first person view(depending on your situation)you get to see cool stuff, like if you kill a bad guy your view gets bloddy,if you kill about 100 roaches with a rocket launcher some roaches with their guts out can get to your screen, even when you are looking up where there are a lot of seagulls, bird crap can get to your screen.

Summary

Ok. I admit, I have never played the first Metal Gear Solid. Maybe this is why I didn't mind playing as Raiden. It's not like the gameplay is any different with him. Everyone who complained about this is just looking for something to bitch about in a very, very brilliant game. Still, the conversations between Raiden and Rose did get a little annoying, but it doesn't affect my view of the game. The story is quite good, and makes you wonder a lot. In the beginning it makes you think one thing, then keeps throwing surprises at you. Finally, at the end, after you think you have figured out what was happening, it really hits you with the truth. It's also nice to have the diferent difficulty settings, making it possible for someone without any kind of video gaming skill (such as myself), as well as gaming veterans to have loads of fun.
