Summary

This game has a great storyline to follow and the music is in good quality. Though its not the funest game there is and the fighting can get repetitive pretty fast and weapons hp get chewed up pretty fast. This a game for the people who like good story.

Strength

The weapon system is awsome it may be a little complex but this is probably only what makes the game play any good. The story line is awsome you probably won't any better one than this. you can get the story line you pay some attention. The world rebuilding fun and you place some ones house in a corner. good musoc

Weakness

The weapon hp gets down too fast. The fighting gets boring. Fetching for the gate is not alot of fun.

Summary

For starters, whatever you people out there payed for this game, you're being over charged(Believe me I should Know). This had to be one of the worst RPG's ever made. What irritated me even more was how all the magazines gave this such great reviews when it was first released. Anyways I'll give the overall evaluation.

Sound

The soundtrack was slightly better than the gameplay, but not much. In the end it seemed like a poor imitation of Chrono Cross's soundtrack with some of the Celtic melodies. The game lacked voiceovers, but again this wouldn't have helped the game anyways. Also, it would have been a shame to waste good voice talents on such a shallow game.

Gameplay

The storyline(what there was of one) sucked. It was like someone scribbled a quick story onto a cocktail napkin and used it as the plot. The characters both playable and non-playable were dull to say the least. For example, the military officer that used the genie to destroy the world was very lame. Which brings me to my next point. Who the Hell!!! were some of these people? There was no purpose for most of these characters to be there except to just to take up space on the screen. The combat system was boring and tedious for the most part. Building your own weapons by combining 2 or more older weapons wouldn't be so bad, except most of the weapons break after only a few hits. This is the most irritating part of the game, especially when it sometimes takes hours just to level up one of your choice weapons. Last, the town building part got old after about two dungeons. The dungeons are randomly generated which is an interesting concept, but alas does little or nothing to boost the intrigue of the game

Summary

Basically, The whole story of the game is that there is this eveil guy..who looks a lot like Hitler (only skinnier), and he's trying to revive the "Dark Genie" with his little fat parter. So they summon all these evil people and tell them to dance in front of the Dark Genie's lamp until her comes out. When the Genie finally comes out, he reeks havoc and destroys your little town where you, Toan (you can change his name), live...and about 5 other towns as well. Everything and everyone exept you, the mayor, and this creepy wizard guy are put inside little spheres and put inside "dungeons" and then are guarded by evil monsters and such. The mayor gives you supplies such as bread, water, a dagger, and repair powder (that is used to fix your weapon). Now go into the dungeons and collect the spheres and bring the village back to it's normal state! When you gather all the parts you get to rebuild the town and place everything the way you want it. In the dungeons, along with the spheres, you also find treasure chests. And depending on their sizes, you get different items. When you're done rebuilding your town, head to the next, and the next..and so on~~!
