It takes Wrestlemania 2000 up to a new level. It is easier to make characters in this and ***Spoiler*** They even have AKI man's costume! To me, thats pretty awesome.Sound The sound is ok. The music isnt bad at all, and the groaning is pretty real. The crowd sounds real, yet still a little electronic.Gameplay Its pretty good. Summary This Game is pretty revolutionary even the X-Box RAW game sucked compared to No Mercy. In RAW Triple H does not look like Triple H, though the selection of characters good. But No Mercy gives you so many options that this game can be played into the night for hours working on the Story Mode. The only downside is within the Pay-Per-View option when you set everything and exit if you forgot something, its all there except the fact that the settings for each match is back to the default setting.Sound Sound kind of stinks it has a good variety of songs but it sounds bad with static and other things but yeah the songs are awesome from Angles to Triple H to The Rock and of course Mankind. But the sound again has its problems but i guess its not to bad its not laying through the whole match except a really quite song but its not to loud.Gameplay The Gameplay is awesome when you Jump off the turnbuckle you ether hit or you dont, and the story mode is pretty interesting because you actually have a variety of what will happen to you through out it, Or when you smash the character so many times they will start blacking out at times or grab where you hit them the most. The Create a superstar option has alot of options and the characters are pretty easy to create and you have alot of options in the area of looks one problem the faces are pretty gay but other than that its awesome. One of the best in N64. It is little better than WM2k just the imroved graphics and more varirety on matches.Sound The sound is great. When you put a submission on you oppenent, he or she will cry out in pain. There is no commentary but when hit your oppenent with a weapon is incredible.Gameplay The gameplay is exellent. You can do a lot of moves and all of them look realistic. The only problem is there is no hell in cell match which is my favorite. Summary This is an outstanding game. Realism is the key feature. Wrestlers can only do what they are capable of. A little guy can't powerslam a big guy and might strain his back trying. Creating a player is the most advanced I've ever seen. This makes the game timeless, you can create classic wrestlers and any new guys. My Jake " The Snake" looks almost perfect and uses moves just like the original.Sound Music is upbeat and modern. The character sound is very good. They strain when in submission holds and cry out when giving up. Weapons have different sounds be it the ringpost or the steel steps.Gameplay The game runs smoothly and has never frozen. The difficulty levels are excellent. Even with countless hours of game time, you can still get beat. Gage matches are a little screwy, the computer can get out much easier. The sound isnt the best thing the game has to offer but it isnt about the sound that matters.Gameplay The gameplay has more to offer than wm2000,revenge. With new options like the smackddown, survival, and your choice of what belt you desire to have. Summary THIS IS THE GREATEST WRESTLING GAME EVER! PERIOD!Sound I must say I got so use to the music I never really notice it.. There are some fun sound effects. Like the clang of hitting someone on the head with a stop sign, or DDTing some one on to a chair on the floor. I also like that little "AHHHHH!" sound an opponent makes when he taps out.Gameplay The controls not "arcade like" much like "CrapDown" opps! I mean "SmackDown". "No Mercy" has "simulation" like control. For instance, if you hold down the grapple button you will do a stonger grapple and will pull off certain moves whereas if you just tap grapple and do a weak grapple you will pill ofg other moves. Holding down the "strike button" will will do a different "strike" than if you were to just tap the "strike button. The different match options keep the game interesting. As for the CAW!? Just when you think that you've seen everything in this game....it shows you more. I've played all of the new games (i.e. Smackdown series and Raw for X-Box) but none of them give me the playing satisfaction of this game. There are a few things that differ Smackdown from No Mercy. The main one is that your opponent stays down after a finisher. One thing that differs from Raw is that you won't find friggin' lobster claws in the CAW. This game is great whether you love wrestling or you hate it. The arenas are great, the backstage areas are great, and the CAW is the best of any wrestling game.Sound The sound is the worse part of the game. But you can always turn down the volume. The sounds of "dig dig diggity dig dig diggity dog" get caught in your brain until you want to beat the hell out of something. But like I said, this can be avoided.Gameplay This is unquestionably the best engine! The gameplay speed varies depending on how many people are in or outside the ring. For instance, if there are 2 it will be fairly fast-paced, but if there are 4 it will seem a little slower. The moves are great; there are a lot to choose from (American and Japanese moves). This game is so fun you don't even have to be playing it to be entertained. Setting up matches and watching them are just is just as outstanding. Summary NO Mercy kicks butt! I recomend this to anyone that wants to have an adventure! This game has great graphics! I got this game on Christmas day 2000 and today on July 21st, 2002, I am still playing it! That shows how good this game is! No Mercy has many different matches, many different modes, and many many different characters. Gameshark helps out a lot too.Sound The crowd can cheer, boo, the entrance musics are the bomb! Summary This is an excellent game. It's the Best Wrestling Game Out, it's even better then Xbox & GCN's Wrestling GamesSound The sound is really where it lacks, but not to much. The entrances have music, the weapons make noise, the ring mat makes a sound when the superstars are slammed on it. The sound is good, not great.Gameplay The Gameplay is great. No Mercy combines so many wrestling games into one. It's got Clean Wrestling or You Can Use Weapons, Bust Your Opponents open, fight in the backstage, etc.Theres a lot of great matches: Ladder, Cage, Royal Rumble, and an Incredible Career Mode with Segments, Twists & Turns that make it very realistic. Summary This game is a great game to play. I have a blast with it. I have had this game since 2000 and I still enjoy it. My friends and I play it. It is even fun to play by yourself. Summary WWF No Mercy is really the continuation of WM2K.It has over 65 superstars,better story mode,all new matches,and so much more.Sound The music is dramatically different.In WM2K all i heard were drums.They really stepped it up during the making of this game.Japan was not perfect by making this game,but it taught me a lesson."Games with bugs have no limitations".i really wish i had fun with this game by hearing great sounds.Selected music {again mentioned}from SD2 attracted me more than Japanese Fiddles or {Imitating Hiroshima}stuff like that.Only buy this game if you have fun with it.And make sure you check the game for bugs because it is very hard starting a game over.Gameplay I will make this short.Playing this game is something else.Only buy this game if you dont have a wrestling game for N64.Unlocking people and winning matches might seem easy but it gets boring after a while.I wondered why they put Andre the Giant in the game and other guys that dont really wrestle anymore,but that changes everything.This game can last you aboot 2 years at the most because some of the gameplay isnt all that.For instance,if they have backstages to enter,why not make a "Hell In A Cell" match availiable?I was dissapointed.And the biggest mistake in my opinion was the Titan Tron.If you look back,the RAW IS WAR Titan Tron featured the pictures still playing.No Mercy,didnt.The music for some other wrestlers{Mean Street Posse} has already been changedby them and they didnt really give them the right music.But some good things about this game are the fighting skills.If close enough, you can get the wrestler to hang on the ropes before going over.And now you have a table.Also you can pick up the steel stairs from the poles instead of the barricade.Would you like to Comment? Summary This is the ultimate game. You like wrestling? Get this. You dont like wrestling? Get this. I play this allll the time with my friends and they dont even like wwf, and we all have a blast. Except for the fact that i tool them all. But hands down, this is the best wrestling game around for any system, even better than the X-Box's RAW!!!Sound if there is a weak spot in this game, and that is a BIG if,i guess it would be the sound. But even at that the sound is great. Only complaint ive got is maybe the choice of picking what plays when you want it to.Gameplay The best yet for any wrestling game. Cool moves and cooler people. This is amazing gameplay at its best. the only complaint is it is a little slowish when in the ring with 4 people. Summary If you are going to buy this game or thinking about it, this is good info for you. After Warzone,Attitude and WM2K, WWF No Mercy outranks them all. Its a solid, normal running game with many objects added despite to the other games. No Mercy has alot of WWF Superstars including other wrestler faces in the CAW mode. No mercy has shown to be the best wrestling game on the N64. It is the first WWF game to use backstage areas and a truck you can fight in. There are not so many weapons but some are new. No Mercy also features the Smakdown! mall and Story mode where there are story lines in your quest. Creat A belt is not in this game and so is commentary.Sound Sound is exelent! Grunts, smashes and music is great. Wrestler grunts are the same as Aki's other games. Weapon smashes, table smashes are well provided with sound and this time when you smash an opponent into a weapon, there IS A SOUND!! A bad thing was that THQ didnt provide commentary and there are no comments by Wrestlers. If you smack an opponent down real good, you wont hear a remark like in Attitude.Gameplay The gameplay is simple and easy to learn unlike Acclaim's games(Warzone,Attitude). Players who have played Aki's WCW/NWO World tour or Revenge will get an idea of how to play but some of the buttons are differently used. When 4 players are in the ring, game action slows down a bit. The cage matchs still suck, but they will have hell in cell codes and triple cage codes as well.controlers are still like WM2K and Revenge which is good cause i hated Attitude, and Warzone. Summary This game is bloody fantastic. Its sooooo much better than any other wrestling games out there at the moment, even Smackdown 2 isnt a scratch on this.
