Sound

I know, it"s not a CD-based system, but the audio is used to great advantage, more so than most other games. It uses audio to guide the player, and the player can play music (simplistic, but catchy) to advance in the game. The game"s subtitle "Ocarina of Time" is well-chosen, the game is almost as much about sound as it is about sight, and it works extremely well.

Gameplay

The Ocarina is one of the really unique gameplay features, it uses the N64 controller much like a musical instrument allowing the player to use music as part of the game. As an adventure game, it has plenty of exploring to do and lots of secret areas, it even uses the rumble-pak to give hints as to the location of secret areas. Like the other games in the Zelda series, it has simple puzzles to solve, and little sub-games as well. Different enemies are affected by different weapons, and Link (you get to name him anything you like) acquires different skills and weapons as the game progresses, like any other Zelda game.
