Summary Its a pretty fun game the first time through but not really a whole lot of replay value... it follows the story pretty well and goes a little more in depth then the movie does.Sound The music wasnt anything special and the diaglouge was a little cheesy and lame at times, but it was good enough to make it through the game I guess...Gameplay Pretty good gameplay... some of the levels were pretty free flowing and non liniear which is always good, but the combat is kinda sketchy at times, although I did like the variety of physical/webbing attacks they gave you (even though I barely used most of them)Would you like to Comment? Summary This game is an average game. The graphics are okay, The sound is average, and i liked the strory line. I bought this game used for $12.99 and I was surprised thats how cheap it was. This game is based on some of the real spiderman movie and they added some of their own ideas. This game was worth for what i paid, You should get it to if you like spiderman.Sound The sound is okay. What i really hate is the music they play. Horrible choice of music they picked for the game. Another thing i hated was Spidermans corny comments. His disses are so stupid.Gameplay There is a lot of action in this game. There is also a lot of different combo moves you can do with spiderman and they are easy to do!!! There is different kinds of training you can play in this game. One of the training is bowling. Thats right Spiderman is the ball and you have to knock down ten guys representing pins. It sounds stupid but its fun. If you like easy games you would like this game which i beat in only three days. This is the fastest and easiest game i have ever palyed!!!Would you like to Comment? Summary A great game! I've just finished it, and yes it was worth it. At first I was immensely impressed by this game, but I seemed to grow a bit tired of it the more I played. In fact I nearly gave up with only two levels left. By that stage the game had become tedious. Don't get me wrong this is an A1 game.Sound In my opinion the sound is neither here nor there, it is simply background effects that make the game more pleasureable.Gameplay The gameplay is refreshing compared to the games I have already played, Halo , Blood Omen 2,etc. all good games in their own right. Summary This game rocked for the 10 minutes or so of actual gameplay. I borrowed it from a friend and I am so happy i didn't buy it. It is not because I didn't like the game, it is because it was over so friggin fast. I beat the game over night on normal mode. Everyone tells me to play it in all the different difficulties, but what's the point I've already solved the story puzzle.Sound The sound was mediocre, just okay. The creators did not take advantage of the surround sound capability which would have made the game that much better. And the voice overs are terrible. I noticed that sometimes one person will be "talking" with sound coming out with no mouth movement whatsoever. Since when is that possible?Gameplay I have never been a Spiderman fan so i was suprised at how much I liked this game. I am happy that the story line could relate to people like me with no background knowledge like the fact that they actually introduced how the green goblin was created instead of just throwing him in the game like i was already suppossed to know what that was. that was very cool. However, i don't like the fact that if you mess up on a "mission" that you should just start over. In my opinion there should be alternate endings/consequences for not completing tasks. That would make the game that much cooler and would make me want to play it again to see what other ending i can obtain. But as it stands, someone who is a hard gamer can beat this in 4 hours. Now I got some cheats which let you play as other characters which seemed cool. But all that is is a different skin on spider-man, everybody still calls you Spidey and none of the villans' comments change towards you. With fast paced fighting game play and great animations from the cut-scene movies to just swinging on a web line through New York, the game brings many great moments from the movie and from many Spidey fan's own long awaited dreams of crawling on a building or swing from a thread the game brings a lot the character to you. While it is a great game overall for anyone, any non-die hard Spidey fan would probably be better off renting it then deciding if they want to buy it.Sound Great sounds and sound effects from Spidey's quips to the web-line thwips. The voice talent, amazing with original voice-overs from Tobey Maguire (as Spider-Man) and Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin).Also the Narrator for the training levels and general tips through the game is talented and funny Bruce Campbell best known for in the Evil Dead movies. The explosions and fight noises especially in the fights with the Green Goblin gives an element of realism that helps make the game hard to put down. Gameplay With 22 awesome levels and in addition to the Green Goblin, Spider-Man will have to face off against Shocker, the Vulture, and Scorpion plus random thieves and gang members, which means there’s a lot of villain butt-kicking to be had. The game being adapted from the new Spiderman movie adds to the N64, PC, PS Spider-Man game featuring a new combo system and 28 amazing and cool looking moves with 7 web attacks. With all the powers of Spider-Man at your disposal, whether it's beating the snot out of bad guys with cool moves, great strength and blurring speed or whipping around on a web, I really enjoyed this game. There where several times when the camera angles were tricky and annoying some of those times fighting bad guys could get very irritating. With new interesting and useful methods such as the 3-D Radar which is a compass and height meter, to the Camera Lock feature so no villain can hide for long , mixed with classic arachnid abilities make this game an addictive keeper. There is some replay ability trying to unlock new costumes and training levels. Ultimately one of the best if not the best Spider-Man games ever.Would you like to Comment? I think it is an excellent action/adventure game. The game just got too hard on some levels and I used cheats. Spiderman requires skill (but not too much) in order to get to the next level. I don't recomend you buy it because if or once you beat it, you won't want to play it again (not because its bad). If I were you I would rent it so that you can play it and if you get fed up on a level, you can get cheats off the internet and get to play any other level to your hearts content. The bottom line, the game has a good combination of action/adventure/fighting and I think should definatly be rented!Sound Spiderman talks and acts like Spiderman should, blasting, puching, kicking, sounds are not bad. There is backround music playing most of the time.Gameplay Spiderman can puch, kick, swing with web, you name it! As you move along you can get different combos for fighting. It sucks that you can run out of web so quickly in the game. Most of the levels of difficult (for me at least). Some of the bad guys have gun or machine guns, which kills spiderman rather quickly. The training mode is good for begginers and the commentator in the training mode is funny. But the training levels are either easy or very hard. The game has twenty levels that are not too short. The training was way more fun than the gameplay. Playing the game doesnt take that long and once you finish the game you wont want to play it again. Although the camera could use some work, it is not impossible to work with. Finding hidden combos was a breath of fresh air and I had fun using them on bad guys. The aerial combat is unbelievable and is done in exellent fashion. Some villians other than the ones from the movie make an appearance here but they are mostly pushovers. Summary If you are a fan of spidey and liked the movie you should like this game. It doesn't have enough replay value but the ability to play as Green Goblin and several other players to unlock give it a little bit(plus the training modes and pinhead bowling are fun). I had a lot of fun with this game but wish I had rented it, even if I needed to rent it twice, but I don't regret buying it.Sound Good voice overs but a little repetative, the narrator is pretty funny but the second time around you wonder why you laughed at such a dufus.Gameplay The combat is heavily broadend from the previous one but unfortunately you only need to use a few different combos. But jumping onto Green Goblin's Glider from 20 stories above his head and pounding on him is the shiznit. Web slinging and ziping are key to master and can be really fun when mastered. Summary While the XBOX may have the best version of this game, that isn't really a great thing since the game isn't that good. Basically you play as Spiderman, or attempt to play as Spiderman. The game is held back by a horrid camera and shoddy controlls. The fighting is rather dull and some levels are just plain not thought out well. This is when it hit me, not all developers and programmers are gamers, and this game is proof of it. Graphics are decent and the sound is alright. Best part about the sound is the anouncer, Ash from Evil Dead(Bruce Campbell). Overall, I'd reccomend you stay far away from this title, unless you are willing to play an awful game.Sound The music is fitting but gets repetitive. The voice taunts get extremely repetitive. The hand to hand combat noises are dull. The web slinging sound is fine. The explosions are average. The 5.1 really isn't put to good use. Voice acting in the CGs fits the bill. Not really a high point or a low point of the game.Gameplay The very worst part of the game, or maybe second worst next to the camera. Your attacks are made up of 3 button string combos. There is no block button so you can easily get beat down. When fighting enimies like Green Goblin hand to hand, you can easily get inturupted while attacking which seems somewhat unfair. Hand to hand combat is very basic and uninspired.Your web attacks are all basically garbage when it comes to effectiveness. I thought Spidy's weds were supposed to be strong, low level thugs easily break out. Super villans do not get effected by his web shots. Spiderman is just plain too slow for some levels. Case and point, there is a level where Green Goblin plants bombs and you must dissable them. You have to swing throughout the city and locate them within a given time limit, sounds fair but, the bombs are simply too far apart with not enough time allocated to disarm them. Spidy just doesn't have the speed to make it across town fast enough, maybe the developers were thinking of the wrong super hero for this level.
