Summary NFL 2k1 is simply put the best simulation football game ever. It has Great gameplay Great graphics and Good sound. The things that really impressed me about this game is the addiction that you will get after playing it. The franchise mode will let you keep on playing FOREVER. And with the Multiplayer internet this game will practically consume your life.Sound the sound is NOT good at all. The commentary from the announcers repeats itself all the time and most of the time it does not even fit. The background music from the music however is very good.Gameplay The gameplay is VERY good. Unlike the Madden games, it is a fast paced game that has excellent and easy to learn controls. The best modes are Franchise mode which kept me playing for 200+ hours and the Internet mode. The internet mode is just plain fun. You get to bash it out with people around the world and have fun beating everybody if you are good.Would you like to Comment? Summary This game is nice but it has so many little flaws that makes it a bad game.Sound man are the sounds good. the commentary is just nice but i wished they would add some more lines to the game. Summary This is the best football game that I have everplayed. I dont know how long I have played it but it has been the whole last year. In my franchise mode i have made it to the year 2006 or something like that and I played with the dolphins. My first yeah was bad because I was still getting use to the game. But I atually finished the same record as the dolphins did in real life and lost in the same spot in the playoffs. After the season was over I didnt expect what came next. First it told em of my old players as well as the players from around the leage had retired! that was just the start. It then whe into the off season where I could prepare for the nfl draft for new players! this was the first time I had ever seen this. I could research all the college players and look over my team to see what i would want in the draft and what positions of mine that were weak and need improvements. I could also trade at this time. the trading system is the best for any sports game EVER! it has to be a fair draft and if the team allready has a good player at the postion that you are ofering then they will not want that player unless you sweeten the deal. They wont do trades like if you were to offer Running back rated at a 50 for Payton Manning they would be like PISS OFF! So it was pritty realistic when it came to that. The draft was just like in real life. The worst teams got he first pics and the best teams of last year got he last.after you pic all of you pics you go into sighing mode. You have to give the players the right amount of money and years based on there rating or they wont want to join your team. you can keep offering them the same amount week after week untill they give in or the go t another team for a better deal. The plaers get better or worse depending on a few things like how good they play in games and the older they get. you can look for free agents that the other teams have gotten raid of because of no use for that player or salery caps. This game had the best system of managment I have ever seen. They still neeed a few inprovents i the next game. I think it would be very good if they had a record book and a hall of fame kinda thing for players and coatches(the gamer) who made the longest feild goal and so on. they also need to track each players states as well as the teams states through the years. I would like that a lot better.Sound The sound wa also very well developed! From great anownsers to funny things the linbackers say to the Quaterbacks it is allaround good stuff. the croun comes into a factor for a first time that I have ever seen in any game. When on defence at a home game you can hit the x button to rile up the crowd to make more noise to mess up the other teams snap count to get falstarts. Doesnt happen to much wich is good. But if you crowd gets to loud from this the refs will call exesive crowd noise.the sounds of the players in the heat of battle is good too. it isnt just grunts and a smashing of the gear eather! good good good! allaround good Gameplay I think that the control and moves of the players on the feild are A LOT better than any madden game ever. I have played almost all madden games and I have never been able to play a real football sceem.In madden it was mostly passing! i could never run the ball! I hated that! But in this game, after getting use to the controls, you can actually run the ball and be as successful if not better than the real football players. I had one reall major beef of this game. In allstar mode(the hardest) the computer team intersepts IMPOSSIBLE catches! I would pass the ball 50 yards down feild and the Cornerback and Widereciver would be at full run and the cb would meraculessly stop and turn around and intercept the ball in all less than 1/10th of a second! I turn off many games when I was down by a touchdown and I though that the pass was going to give me that tying score but the computer intecpts an impossible ball! ohhh that got to me! I saw a much to big of a difference in the pro(medium) and allstar(most difficalt) difficalty modes. In a number system rookie would be a 1, pro would be a 5 and allstar would be a 10! They need to get a few other difficalty modes or fix it so that it isnt so hard and more realistic.They also need to have the ability to make or take playes from other teams play books to add to your own. I got sick of my playbook after 6 seasons! you can only make like 6 playes and that isnt enough! I also notices that the wide recivers would like to jump a lot more to catch the balls instead of just running to catch it. That made me mad too. Summary Overall, I think this game is very good. I can't wait for the 2K2 version to come out. The only problem is that the games themselves take too long. The franchise mode is not too bad, but still needs some work. I found myself falling asleep by halftime of the first game I played. In my opinion, this game is better than the Madden games even if it does get boring.Sound The background noise on a replay sounds like a potato chip getting eaten and those commentators do get VERY boring after a while.Gameplay The gameplay is very fun in this game. Summary Hello everybody, and welcome to the NFL.I think this is the best football game i've ever played. Madden 2002 is close, but i still like 2k1 a little better. I can't wait for NFL2k2.Sound The sound is my favorite part of the game. It is great. Dan Stevens and Peter O'Keefe make playing a game even better. The players also run their mouth before and after plays. The comentators are the best in any sports game, and you can't coach thatGameplay The running game was improved from last yeas game. It seems that blokers actually block who they are supposed to. The passing game was fine in 2k, and no big changes in 2k1. Th game is fast and has an arcade feel to it that madden lacks. Franchise mode could have been deeper. Why does Fred Taylor retire after just 5 years? The crowd dosen't get very loud. Maybe team mascots or cheerleaders would pump these guys up.
