Perfect for an artistic, creative person, or a person who handles money well. Or a person who gets along with anyone. Well, that last one has to be to the EXTREME as the animals are a little hard to get along with. Harder than people.Anyway, this game is great for the strategic mind, and is mostly about getting along. The animals in your town are chosen at random, as are the town's features, and that makes it unpredictable. You get to design your clothes, house, and plant trees... theres more than I can mention. This is a great game, but DO NOT rent it. You need to own it to enjoy it! Sound Hahahahahahahahaha! Don't even mess with me! The sound is like... I think thats why your aloud to hit your niebors with a net. To make them shut up. The only reason I'm giving this a 3 is because theres an option to turn the sound of! =^-^=Gameplay What I love about this game is the amazing replay value. As the game never ends, you don't need replay value! Have you gotten your goal of bells? Maybe your house isn't perfect, or you can still save 137 more designs. Have you gotten every one of the hundreds of items and seen every character? There are these and more questions to awnser yes too before you can say you beat the game. No repetitive play here. You have to wait all year to see all the holidays, so don't even TRY to say you beat the game till' 2004! That wuldn't be enough time to finish the rest of the game though... see?! Amazing! You make friends, make enemies, fish, be an interior decorator, get the house of your dreams, shop!!!, bug hunt, dig up fossils, make your own clothes. Once you get past the beginning where you work for Tom Nook it gets really fun so all u people that say it sucks..just look at their hours played (ex/ Lyle Rawdon from Parkville, MO didn't like the game, but guess what only 2 hours played..didn't quite give it a chance)ay.Sound The sound is really funny..lol..it is annoying but really funny. lol. da daa da daaaaaaa---- da daa da daa.Gameplay Like the same as summary. It gives you so much freedom and offers so much content that you either discover something new or think of something cool to do every time you play. It's also a very cool social device, since four people can play in exactly the same town.Sound Once again, simple but brilliantly rendered. You can stalk certain insects by following their chirps, every animal plays a different variation on the (user defined!) town tune, adding trills, pauses, and sound effects to give each character their own personality. But the best thing so far has been that every type of wallpaper and carpet has it's own acoustic properties - they change the way your room sounds! Definitely a feast for sharp ears.Gameplay After your orientation, nothing is mandatory. You can even leave the game for weeks or months and pick up where you started, despite the fact that the game takes place in real time. I wouldn't call it a "sim" exactly, since most of the things you do to affect the town are pretty direct- chopping down the trees, doing favors (or not doing them- who needs it, man?), planting the forest, and writing letters that actually get some kind of response from the animals. However, there are a few minimal control issues.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary Animal crossings is the type of game where you think you've figured out every possible secret or obtained every possible item but then the next day you discover something new. That happens to me all of the time. Animal Crossings is full of so many surprises. You'll never get tired of it!Sound The music in this game in fairly good. Its not so annoying that you can remember the tune and hum it in your head. Most of the characters sound the same. There are sound fixings in this game so you can arrange the sounds to your preferences.Gameplay You can do whatever you wan tin this game. Maybe you might feel like doing some errands for your neighbors or going to a village completely different from yours by using a second memory card. Or you can kick back relax and round up some fish from the river. But don't get too lazy though! Life doesn't come free. You will have to do your share of work in order to pay off your debt from your house. If you don't pay up, things might get nasty. . . . .Would you like to Comment?
