Jack Slate is a K-9 cop in Grant City, a seething cesspool of vice and iniquity that makes Al Capones Chicago look like Isle Delfino. While investigating a construction site that, for some reason, is crawling with heavily armored hard-hats, Jack encounters his fatally wounded father.
