Battlefield: 1942 for Windows Videos >>
Summary this game is a first person shooter with a new twist. Well at least for me it is a new twist. Tpyically you control a person, go around and kill the enemy in a WWII setting. The battles are crafted historically and pretty accurate, example, parachute in on the market garden map, storm the beaches of nomandy on the omaha map and defent your fleet as well as the island on the midway map. Now I like first person shooters and quite frankly I usually find them all the same. You have your character, walk around solving the puzzels to advance to the next section, pick up weapons, health and armor along the way that are just lying on the ground, and kill the opposing enemy force along the way. Pretty simple and that is really enough to make me happy. With Battlefield, it does more than that. I personally have no expierenced any errors and I think he interface was very well designed. Simple and yet effective. I have noticed no bugs before and after the download. I think the physics model was done very well. I would like to actually see bunkers blow up when I have an engineer place explosive near them, but oh well you can not have everything! I also think it would really be fun if peopel on-line worked as a team. but that is NOT EA's fault. You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make them drink!he only real complain I have with this game is targeting. IT really makes it hard t target things from a ship. I wish there was a way to input coordinates into the battleship to file the deck guns. Sound Now in my opinion you can have the best graphics, but if you do not have the sound, you might as well just not even bother selling the game. To place it in perspective try watching a movie action seen with only subtitles. I know there are certain people who are unfortunate and that is they way they have to listen to it, However with out good sound the game is boring. This game has incredible sound. In surround sound the bullets fly by me, in the background I can easily hear distant battle just like you would if you were there. The voices are really neat as well, spoken in all different languages depending on what side your on. Even if you donot speak the language you know what they are saying. Especially when I mow them down with a machine gun and they turn over to say thier last words. I enjoy the sound so much that I turn it up really load... not too load butjust load enough to make it spound like I am really shooting that gun. OR there was an explosion 2 feet away.Gameplay Gameplay in this game is really fun and jumping in and out of either you own or enemy's equipment is fun. PLaying on the impossible mode really does make things impossible. I storm the beach and I can not even make three steps off the amphibous assult boat without being nicked by a sniper! when I play the opposite side, I get nicked by a sniper in when I can not see the enemy with the fog. So turing it down one notch really makes it cool. The only bad thing is when playing single player I can not have like 200% bots running around without it taxing my system so bad and that is woith the graphics turned down. So keep it at 140 and 25% AI with the graphics all the wy up. One thing and to me this is a big thing, is that in most 1st person shooters, you get hit, your guy goes.. uch or something. you turn around and shoot the enemy and keep going. You can basicaly be like robocop advancing, as you straf forward. Not in this game. I could not tell you how many time I am in a bunker and somone throws a granade in side. You pretty much have the same reaction in real life... You have enough time to continplate that "I am going to die". The spawn screen comes on. Makes it very realistic that a single bullet can kill you. Hiding in one spot like most games I have done does not work either. In most online games I can sit in a building all day and snipe people comming and no one knows where I am. Not here, I wind up gettin an RPG right at my location and me being blown through a window. Flying a plane is hard, but with force feed back its fun. Sometimes I just use it to parachute to a location. Tanks easy to move and simple to fire, can easily jump to the machine gun on to or inside . Controlling battleships and aricraft carriers is the same. Basically just like in real life, point all your navel guns at the enemy keep firing and see who sinks first. You can even fire as the ship alarms are going off to abandonded a sinking ship. Oh yeah one more thing, reloading your weapon is unique. Most FPS, the wepon automatically reloads. Not here. I can not tell you how many times I get ransacked by peps running to my location, running out of bullets, trying to reload, but have to switch to my pee shooter hand gun running out of ammo and then being killed because the wepons do not reload fast enough. But I think that is fun and makes the game more challenging.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary Brilliant game, mediocre technology. They are on the edge of greatness. Probably one or two more patches and they will be there. At first it was as fun and addictive as Grand Theft Auto (more so due to the great online play). Unfortunately, the graphics bugs finally caught up to me. After about 10 hours of play with smooth graphics, I reinstalled my system (XP Pro). I haven't been able to get it to run right since then (running all the latest drivers). It is often choppy and the text looks terrible.Sound Average, no explicit EAX support listed in the UI, but it seems to work OK with my SB Audigy.Gameplay Like GTA3, you can muck with just about everything that moves. The vehicle simulations lean toward the arcade, but that makes perfect sense in this setting. Until the bugs set in, I was playing games with 32+ people with no noticeable lag.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. So this will be short and more to the point. To date there has been no game that accomplishes what Battlefield 1942 does. It as close as you can get to really fighting in a war without joining the army and hoping for one heh...If you've like Operation Flashpoint or MOAAA this one combines the best features of them both into a incrediable piece of software. This game has it all, the total package for Action and War game enthusist. Sound The sounds are really nice, nothing outta this world but are very effective is submerging you into the war at handGameplay So far this game has alot less bugs than games that come out on the shelf today..Hell i dont have cable modem or anything so i can't enjoy the multi-player fun :( I bought it for the single player campaign. Any game that lets me fire cannons off my destroyer and kill enemieson the island nearby is cool...but the fact that i can jump in a side boat and bouy myself down and speed inland and then jump in any vehical on our side , i.e Tank, Half-Track, APC, Jeep, Plane, Anti aircraft guns , and machine guns nest is just fooking awsome. Or i could just hoof it as a Sniper, Infatray, Bazooka man, Medic, and engineer is just more icing on the cake. No your not a rambo but you can make the differance between your side winning and losing, when i see there are 11 allied soldiers left and one of the allies tanks up and running. And we have 6 soldiers left your heart starts to pound and your actually planning, planning hardcore you gotta knockout that tank so do you try is with your gernades or wait till you die and come back as a bazzoka soldier. Intense and i love it. Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. I suggest trying the demo/s first. It is clear from all these reviews here at PCGR that this is a contraversial game. Quite justifiably some people love it, others hate it. As a lifelong WW2 buff and a fan of FPS games, this game comes close to gaming Nirvana for me. However the joy has come at a price. Despite the fact the game runs well on my system, this game is buggy for many. It required a lot of tweaking to get it running smoothly for me. I have NEVER before brought home a game, only to find I could not even start it without first downloading a 15mb patch! (I have to thank the Windoze XP refresh rate problem and my third party solution for that). As of today and the 1.1 patch, sound is still buggy for many, many Creative soundcard users. In still other areas there is more work the programmers could (and should) do. There is scarcely a BF42 owner who is not praying for a forthcoming series of patches (?) to fix something.. I strongly advise potential buyers to either play the demos (and get hooked potentially), play it on someone else's machine (and get hooked), or wait for more patches to iron out this game. As of today there IS apreciable risk that if you bring this home without testing and without interest in the subject matter, you might be disappointed. But when this game is running well...be prepared to be immersed in a real war - moving seemlessly between land, sea, and air. The vast array of vehicles, the huge maps, and the accessibility of becoming part of the immense WW2 action really make this game a stand out. It is worth all the aggravation, IMHO, although sadly that need not have been.. Sound I have mixed feelings about the sound. This game has proven quite buggy for users of many Creative soundcards. Some of the weapon sounds are a bit weak, although perhaps I have been spoiled by the award winnning Medal of Honor. What is done very well is tank sounds (at least the sherman) and the effect of distance on sounds. Not only are distant sounds quieter, but shell hits resolve themselves into distant thumps that sound dinstinctly real.Gameplay Single player: Many people have lamented the bot AI. Admittedly there is the temptation to assume it is dreadful 'out of the box'. However, I have persisted with it to find some satisfaction. Bot skill level has to be set low (try 10%). At the default 75% the AI bots are frustrating supermen. You will be sniped before ever seeing your foe. At 10% skill level you will have a fighting chance against several bots at once, and the bots have more realistic visual range and blind spots. It is possible to surprise some, as a human player. It doesn't hurt to turn down CPU usage down in game either. Naturally the bots can do some stupid things! However I must say, apart from the well-documented jumping in and out of vehicles, I haven't found the bots to be much dumber than a lot of the new players I see playing online. In mnay hours of playing on and offline, I think I have been run over my human players more than the bots, and I have seen many more humans crash planes than the bots! And the bots don't complain if you shoot them in the back in an effort to overtake them running to grab a plane. =) The bots pathfinding is excellent, and their use of the dozens of different vehicles is really very good. The bots are capable of some very clever play. I have been shot out of the sky over a bot destroyer, only to parachute into the sea. To my horror I then found I was being shelled in the water by a bot that manned the ship's 6 inch guns! Fortunately, I was close to the ship and was able to just swim under the minimum angle of the guns. Climbing on board the enemy ship, I managed to kill the onboard bot, before drawing the attention of a nearby landing craft full of bot troops. They proceeded to circle the destroyer in an effort to get a clear shot at me, all the time laying out a hail of supressing fire. Despite all efforts to crawl to cover, they used their tactical advantage perfectly, outwitting me, and eventually deservedly earning their kill. ;-) Considering how many different vehicles the bots can commandeer, I think they make pretty good use of them for a game this ambitious. Oh, another thing I like about the bot AI is they seem to deliberately hitch rides on vehicles, jumping on tanks and jeep hoods for a fast ride! Neat.Mutliplayer: I have played this game on large LAN, small coop LAN, and modem. I have almost given up on playing this with 56k. The response and lag is dreadful, and one is limited to 16 player servers pretty much. Initally I did have fun playing on a modem. Area effect weapons are still playable (grenades, boms, tank shells etc), but bullets - forget it unless everyone is standing still. In this game regular hand held weapons feel dreadful on 56k compared to say the crispness of SOF2 (and others). Coop LAN is great fun - taking on dozens of bots with a friend or two. My PC can handle about 45 bots before it starts to chug a bit. Large LANS with other people is of course the ultimate. Battlefield 1942 is very hard to beat in this environment. So many different vehicles allows enormous creativity in tactics. So many different combinations of creativity and initiative are possible, it is hard to fathom. Would you like to Comment? Ive never seen such slowdown on any game, and my PC is a monster. THE PROBLEM WAS THE SOUND ACCELERATER. Many forums about the games slowdown say turn your accelerater off, and it works awesome. I can play with everything cranked now. And now i simply love this game. To do it, go to run in the start menu, type in dxdiag, then go to the sound tab, and turn the accelerator off. I noticed no difference in audio quality. Sound Im not a sound guy, but i do no its not that impressive. And is what plagued the game with slowdown.Gameplay Good. I think the gameplay is fast and entertaining, and controling your guy is a breeze, however airplanes can be tuff. Vehicles are good as well but are better driven in 3RD person.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. You ask for a game with bigger maps and greater opportunities for strategic battle, yet keeping the FRS feel. EA has delivered in spades, and yet all you can do is whine about how your boggy system can't run it??I run this thing at full speed and have found it to be extremely enjoyable, including the single player mode. There were occasional bugs, but the recently released patch has fixed pretty much everything that initially slowed the game down. Sound Nice. Not as nice as MOHAA, but still neat. Love the vehicle sounds, as well as the gurgling death rattles from the soldiers (who sound like me after a long night of Newcastles).Gameplay Amazing fun if you've got a good online team. Snipers can actually snipe and be effective. Pick a good spot and no one can find you for endless spans of time (which is why sniping is so difficult...my tip? Aim for the head). This is what war was, folks, confusing, hardcore, and violent. Comparing this to MOHAA is like comparing bungee jumping with jumping rope. Get used to it, or wimp out and return the game. Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary Interesting concept, badly put togetherMOHAA x Operation Flashpoint= BF1942 in total its good but you really do have to be drunk or not bothered about losing as the game, has a tendancy to choose when your gonna win, as i stated before the vehicles are good, but it just don't work effectivley, plus NO ONE EVER works as a team I would rate the game higher, but I've played better Sound ok, has problems with nForce sound APUGameplay Good mix of gameplay its basically the new operation flashpoint, but i'd say Operation flashpoint is better, this game has weapons which decide when they want to hit targets, there are too many teamkillers aswell, it has Bad internet/LAN support, gameplay is fun but sometimes you do feel like snapping the CD, as the game does decide its self when your gonna win,Would you like to Comment? Summary Great idea, horrid execution.Don't take my word for it - as I write this there are 161 people logged into BF1942 on Gamespy, compared to 2710 playing Medal of Honor. Sound Pretty basic. The sounds do not help with gameplay at all. For example, in MoH you can tell direction and weapon type based on sounds, and after playing for awhile the sound becomes an important part of playing the game well. The sound in BF1942 felt like it was rushed, and adds nothing to the game beyond being one step above silent.Gameplay The concept is wonderful - being able to command all aspects of a WW2 battle, from vehicles to infantry, etc. But the game is so poorly designed and coded that you won't get near to experiencing what you should experience. Instead, you'll be drowned in lag, glitches and complete slowdowns - assuming you get it to run at all, that is.Would you like to Comment? It seems that EA has released a game that is only half finished. The game is plagued with problems. To start off, the main problem that i encountered was the Recommended System specs. If you noticed, i only have a 766 processor with a lousy Radeon 7000, but on the back of the box it only recommends a 800 CPU with 64 mb Video Card. Now, i would guess that if i almost have the "recommended" system specs, i repeat, i'm not talking about "required", i'm talking about "recommended" system specs, i would guess that i could probably be able to play the game with the graphics turned down. But not in this case. Did EA mean that with an 800 CPU and 64 MB of video memory the game would actually load and you could kind of walk around in the sluggish environment? What happens if you only have the required 500 CPU??? I'm really dying to know this answer. Let me say this, i'm a regular Counter Strike and MOHAA player, and because i spend a lot of time playing the above, i'm pretty good at Multi player FPS's. But in this game i cannot kill anything. The lag is horrible. I have a pretty fast Cable Internet, but when i aim and shoot at people, it doesn't seem to be hitting them. The weired part is how even if you have great ping, LIKE 50 AND BELOW, it doesn't matter in the game. EVERY THING IS SLUGGISH AND CHOPPY!!! If you think that this problem exists because of the lower specs of my computer, your wrong. This problem is also seen on my friends 2.0 GHZ computer with a Gefore 4 vid card. The fluid movements observed in MOHAA, Counter Strike, and RTCW is not there at all. Maybe the reason i'm so bitter is because this game had such a potential!!! I COULD OF BEEN LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is awsome fun when it works fine. In this i mean during smaller maps, or at the beggining of the games. This is because as time passes in the games, there is a lot of memory leak, which causes the game to slowly run down after awhile. Why didn't EA force the game to ship when it was only half done? All in all, the game is fun but i still feel like i wasted $40. The choppiness of the game makes it no fun at all. If i can't run the game, just tell me EA! Don't give me LIES ON THE BACK OF YOUR BOX. Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary What gives! my previous review has ben removed!I guess sensorship is every where now, but I didn't actually swear and my review was my honest opinion! Still, to re-cap in brief, this game sucks the large one in single player mode and I'm not particularly imporessed at having to mess around for ages to download a patch just to make the game work in multiplayer after I've just shelled out £35 for a boxed (supposedly working) product! Sound Fairly good apart from the fact that you can't hear a plane coming and a tank screaming right next to you sounds fairly lameGameplay Crap controls unbeleivable that my machine has more power than it took to go to the moon and yet I have to crank all the settings down to low to make it marginally playable!Would you like to Comment? I had no trouble with the demo, but the full game has some problems. I keep on getting lockups about every hour or so. Also the lag on some servers a plain crazy.Sound Sound is fair. Really nothing outstanding here.Gameplay Its basic teamplay FPS, you have to sides, and whoever gets the most checkpoints wins. You can also play team death match and so on. Yes, you can jump into any vehicles. It's fun to run people over with a jeep, then ram into a tank and blow them up too. But overall it gets boring pretty darn fast. The major problem is just too much lag even if you have a great ping rate and many slow downs. Better have a high end computer to get any joy out of this game.Would you like to Comment? Don't let yourself be yet ANOTHER beta tester for EA. Look elsehwhere.. wait a few years for EA to get its act together.Sound Not bad.. too bad it has no depth to clue the player into directions, distance, and the approach of others.Gameplay BAd netcode creating horrible lag.Bots are useless in every way - contrary to claims by the developer that this would be a revolutionary intelligence engine creating amazing gameplay. Game physics are totally off base as aim, damage and response of weapons are not logical. Guessing wildly when to shoot will do you better! As a side note.. the damn thing is offensively Americanized, with US flags on British ships, no Canadian troops, misrepresentation of battle history. What a slap in the face to other countries. Summary Well, if you're lucky enough for this game to work flawlessly on your system, then this game will be very fun. However, if you are one the more common person that has problem after problem, blame EA. It's been out for a month now, and EA doesn't seem to be doing much for patches.Sound Sound. The biggest problem of the game. Seems like older cards work better than newer ones. With my Audigy Gamer I get very bad sound with "hardware acceleration" turned on. Sound cuts in and out, and it crackles a lot. The coding of the sound is pretty bad, and if its set to high detail, it will slow the game down terribly if your cpu isn't fast. I can't have surround sound in the game because I have to play with hardware acceleration off, and with 32 channel sound on, it still cracks sometimes. If the sound was better, this game would be MUCH better.Gameplay Gameplay is good in some areas, bad in others, the foot to foot combat could be better. There should have been more weapons to choose from too. All the vehicles are great, like the planes and boats. But the physics however are not good at all. Hard to explain them, but EA deffinitly messed up there.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary This game is not perfect... for sure. That being said, there is definitely something about it that is special. There is most certainly some hastily pasted together coding as my brand-spanking-new high-end computer has real problems just loading the monster. Once the game gets going it does seem to settle down and behave better though - let's hope for some elaborate patching in the near future. At this point I'd like to interject my personal displeasure at having to join a pay-per-download scam-site (or alternatively wait for hours in line) just to acquire the patch for a game I just paid close to $50 for! This greed is likely to cost EA in the long run.I should mention that despite the memory leaks the game has never "crashed" on me. However, trust me when I say you need a powerful machine to run this baby. All in all I liked it better than MOHAA (Medal of Honor) because, what else, the vehicles! The tanks, jeeps, planes and ships are just plain fun to play with. No, they don't take that much time to learn. MOHAA had better graphics and gameplay but the lack of vehicles made me bored within a few hours, might as well just play Quake 3. Hey, why not marry MOHAA engine with the ability to pilot vehicles like in BF1942! Wow, what an idea! I suppose that’ll cost me an additional %50. Sound The sound is just adequate. The sounds within vehicles tend to be the most elaborate and satisfying. Many others seem to have been put together haphazardly. Also, there is a quirky property in which often one sound will completely prohibit another from playing. For example, when shooting your machine guns from within a tank will stop airplane sounds from playing at all.Gameplay The gameplay is fun if not a little confusing. I don't like the overhead map system... the understatement of the day. The little weird arrow that indicates your location on the overhead map is difficult to see and not at all intuitive to use. It's just confusing to figure out where you are, where you're "supposed" to go, and where the heck everyone else is. That notwithstanding, it's so fun I often found myself giggling like a little schoolgirl! Yeah, there's something that stimulates my juvenile inclinations when I let loose with a barrage of shells into the side of an opposing tank! The vehicles are not only fun but also tend to positively influence people to play cooperatively – something conspicuously missing in MOHAA.One note: the game, especially flying, tends to make me feel a little dizzy - almost like motion sickness. Also, players tend to “camp out” where the airplanes and other vehicles spawn making it difficult to get your greedy hands on one of them. Would you like to Comment? Summary Great title burred beneath pile of bugs witch are just way to much...Sound Half of the sounds are missing, for example there is nice tank sounds as they get closer to you, but no plane sounds at all...Gameplay MP is unplayable unless you have ADSL Cable T1 or really good DSL, personaly I have an average DSL and it's unplaybale. SP bots are worthless, think of beta Counter-Strike bots or worse, they usualy lose their path way and end up runing in to wall and 'keep runing' well you can get the picture...Would you like to Comment? Summary Well, a great concept, nice vehicle code, and good features, but it is totally let down by the stupid bugs, errors, and plain bad programmingSound Terrible. There was a gigantic mistake made in the coding where it uses up so much processor power that just having music on will slow down your computer to a crawl.Gameplay Muliplayer is fun, but expect a lot of childish people who just cant take being killed. Expect to be called 'n00b', 'loser', and many bad words I wont go into here. If you intend to buy this game for the single player, DONT!The bots are usless. They cap points, but they dont go asa group, and once capped, they mvoe off and leave it open. Plus a lot of the time, they will get into the vehicles, then back out again, and then in, then out, and they will keep doing it 'till they get killed. Would you like to Comment? Summary I was really looking forward to this, I had read some of the reviews but was convinced that the spec of my machine would handle it, as the graphics are no better than MOHAA so I was gobsmacked to find that even in single player I had to crank all the settings down to low and even then it is laggy. (I must confess I haven't updated my driver yet), I have been unable to try multiplayer yet as I haven't been able to download the patch! Big moan about that as EA do not host it themselves, you are redirected to mirror sites and Fileplanet via Gamespy where there are 100's of people waiting to download it!Sound Sounds are fairly good but again nothing ground breaking here!Gameplay Intresting gameplay I like the fact that you can interact with everything but it would have been better if they had taken a closer look at Operation Flashpoint for controlling vehicles. The planes are almost unflyable (joystick operation badly needed!)trying to dogfight is a waste of time and if you want to bomb something...forget it! As an infantryman It would have been better if you could carry a rifle or machine gun as well as your bazooka ( I suppose there might be some merit to this in multiplayer) but there's nothing more frustrating than fighting your way to a new outpost, capturing it, then all of a sudden a tank or bloke with a gun hoves into view (depending what your carrying) and tops you! Luckily "Game" has a 10 day returns policy so if the multiplayer version (when I can get the damn patch) is not exceptionally good fun then it's going back!Would you like to Comment? Summary For starters.......If you a looking for an advanced version of MoH or RTCW, you will be disappointed. As the other reviewers have said, BF'42 will immerse you in the "complete" game with vehicles, tanks, weapons, and planes, unlike the other big 2. This is to the positive for BF'42, and makes the game enjoyable, but there is a lot to the negative. Sound Very good...........Once again, unless your running a fast system, don't waste your money. Save it for the MoH Expansion Pack......Gameplay Do not buy this game and expect to get the smooth flowing graphics like MoH or RTCW, because it will not happen. At first, this game cd almost became a drink coaster, that is until I discovered what some of the problem was.If you purchase this game *****UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS*****. This was my first mistake and once I had accomplished that, the game performed much better and somewhat smoother. As you can see from my stats, I am running a high end system, and also just installed a faster motherboard to assist in the gaming. A cable modem is a must for online gaming, especially since the single player version is WORTHLESS and absolute CRAP ! Online gaming is awesome.....BUT.....unless you have a higher end system, alot of RAM, and a cable modem (or similar).....you will be wasting your money. All of this is no guarantee, since I have found it difficult to find a decent server. When all of this is completed, playing online is great. But then still, due to design or whatever, this game does not flow and have the great "fluid" movement of MoH or RTCW online. Would you like to Comment? It was rushed for delivery thus the need for a patch to be released in conjunction with the game itself. It is extremely unstable in all aspects, especially in the multiplayer mode. I will not even acknowledge the fact that this game has a single-player mode because it was such an afterthought the game-designers didn't even think twice about the A.I. As a Day of Defeat mapper myself I must say this game has potential...but no more. There is much improvement in sight for this game. I believe it will be improved but probably not until PS3 comes out.Sound This is the most lacking category of all...the sound department must of just been on break during the game development. Sounds are cartoony at best (recall old batman BOOM!)...and i think the sound for walking in mud must have been some random guy making squishing sounds into a mic. The vehicle sounds are not nearly loud enough ie. (the tiger tank should instill fear from a mile away let alone 2 feet) Map sounds are just not there...environment sound is totally dependent on current action of combatants...otherwise its dead silent...playing Stalingrad was like watching silent film.Gameplay The gameplay is okay...you must keep in mind while playing this is NOT a historic or realistic attempt to recreate WWII. It is at best a comic-book version of the real deal. How can you say it's real when you can hop into a tank, fire away, then drive to a plane, parachute onto a battleship and command indirect artillery all in the span of a few minutes? But that's precisely why it is entertaining just for the simplicity of control over the numerous available vehicles. Besides that, there was much effort put into the maps themselves which are understating to say just "big"...the maps are HUGE. Suffice to say, you won't be getting far without some means of travel besides your own 2 feet. |
