Summary This game is a must-have for ALL XBox gamers. The action still great and it does everything right for a first person shooter. Though, there are minor glitches in the graphics,They are easy to overlook with good controller configuration and fast, mindblowing action. The story line is one of the best and most unique. The game plot is one of the reasons why I think Halo is still a good game. The music in the game goes perfectly with the struggle for survival that gamers must face. Halo was the very first game I've ever played one the XBox. I mean, you have to give this game credit if you've been playing it for two years and still getting your butt kick on the highest difficulty in the game, because of the intensity. I've seen other games that tried, but cannot mean the 'Halo' Standard.Sound The sound is one of the best that I've ever heard. The voice acting is really good. The environments sound real, the people in the game bring it to life, and each time I play, the music intensity to Halo.Gameplay The controls are fairly easy to learn, in all aspects of the game and there are only a few weapons to carry at a time, its the best if the average gamer does not wants to worry about carrying ten different kinds at once and figuring which one to use in the heat of battle. The story line is very good in quality compared to the other games I've played. Multiplayer Halo has a huge variety of game types to choose from. The levels of difficulty in the game are real, not like some games where the difficulty is the same no matter how many times you change it. The AI is very intelligent and when you don't play the game 'right', the game actually punishes you for it.Would you like to Comment? Summary Welcome on my review on the ever popular halo, It is a fantastic game with endless skill and fun, read these below to see.Sound The sound isn't good, it's brilliant! The marines, sware and shout, sometimes it's great to have a marine on the back of your warthog goin hell yeah! The Grunt's are hilarious, try sticking a grenade to one! The sound are like you would hear them in reality. Gameplay The Gameplay is fantastic, easy is a challenge for halo newbies, and legendary is a challenge for anyone, the ai on it, mainly on legendary, is amazing, the Elites dodge your bullets, throw grenades at you, and have as much chance of killing you as you have of killing them.Jackals have annoying sheilds that only assult can stop, hunters are superpower. The Co-Op is just as great too, And multiplayer is even better, i have never been on a better multiplayer game than halo. The only bad thing i can say is that i can get repetive. Summary As soon as i started the game on my newly bought X-box i was instantly hooked. With the graphics and the AI and just about everything. Yes there were a few glitches but nothing major. In fact they were so small that they were funny at times. I'm serious. With a grunt that never stops falling and a hippo on the shotgun shells, those were funny. Well newaiz, the game runs very smoothly and with little or no glitches. Although it has a linear storyline, i'm an RPG fan, it makes up for it in it's plot twists and just the whole consept. Well all I can say now is that if this is wat the first game could give then i can't wait to see wat Halo 2 can dish out. For those of u who have seen the previews for Halo 2 u'll know wat i mean.Sound Wat first caught me for sound was the music. When u charge into the sea of enemies the music kiks in it really gets ur blood pumping. It's just like a cheesey movie where the music will tell u wat's gonna happen next. But this game isn't cheesey. The music comes on right on cue. The voice acting is pretty great to. The movie scenes with talking are amazing aswell.Gameplay Most of the gameplay was in the summary but there's other stuff to say about it. I love the fact that in the later levels they introduce a new enemy that even more powerful than the covenent! It's at those times that you are 1 genetically enhanced man fighting a war for the human race all by urself. About the difficulty, they stay true to their word. Easy is easy and legendary mean that u'll be a legend if u can kill 3 elites at 1 time, lol. It let's u effectively choose the right difficulty for u. I personally like legendary. But that's jus me.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member. Summary Halo is revolutionary game that will not be surpassed for a long time. As someone who has played video games since teh original Zelda, I can honestly say this is my favorite game of all time. The plot is fantastic with twists and turns (some predictable, some not,) if you'd like proof, read the two books based on the game. I wont reveal anything here for spoilers sake. Unfortunatly for all its glamour, it's not flawless. Which is ok. The few problems it has i hope are rectified with Halo 2.Sound The best feature. The sound effects and voices are superb, but the music is unbelievable. It truly gets the blood pumping and perfectly sets the mood. Very innovative as well. Gregorian chants are used to a great extent and they sound excelent.Gameplay Whoa. Large scale battles (a certain beach scene comes to mind), stealth (on your way to the control room of Halo, you get plenty of oppurtunities to eliminate foes in silence) , survival (once you meet the flood, some levels become a constant fight for life against swarms of enemies.) This game has it all. The transition beetween vehicles and on foot is seamless, gun managment is essential, and versatility is abundent. This is truly a treat. Multiplayer is probably the best feature but i cant explain more due to space.Would you like to Comment? Join VideoGameReview for a free account, or Login if you are already a member.
