Summary

Before you read my review, consider that the price is in Austraian dollars. This game normaly comes with the DK bongoes to use to play the game. The DK Bongoes have a sound censor so if you clap, It notices. Now, Donkey Konga is a rhythm game with a story. That is a good thing considering its catergory. The story is,Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are walking across the beach when they find a small pair of barrels. They take the barrels to Cranky Kong who says they are bongoes created to bang to make music.DK askes if they could get famous if they were really good and if they could buy as many bannanas as they wanted with the money. Cranky says if they were good enough.Hearing this, DK starts banging along, only to get laughed at by Diddy.Diddy then tries, also to sound utturly terrible. Cranky, hearing the noise, tells them if they practice they'll be famous.Unfortunateley, I don't think there is anymore to the story.

Sound

I'm so sad! Donkey Konga has 31 songs but I only like a few! Here are the songs: Pop: Lady Marmalade 99 Red Balloons The Locomotion I Want You Back Tubthumping (You know this song) Alright Back For Good Rock: Wild Thing The Impression That I Get All The Small Things Don't Stop Me Now Richard III Funk: Cosmic Girl September Canned Heat Electronica: Busy Child Latin: Oye Como Va Para Los Rumberos Classical: Hungarian Dance No.5 in G Minor Turkish March Classics: Dancing In The Street Louie Louie You Can't Hurry Love Sing,Sing,Sing (With a Swing) Videogame Soundtrack: Super Smash Bros. Melee Opening The Legend of Zelda Theme (In Latin) Super Mario Bros. Theme Donkey Konga Theme Donky Kong Country Theme DK Rap Rainbow Cruise The best sounds are the sound effects that you buy like bongoes that sound like: The NES,the Konga Krew(no idea who they are),jungle animals,Kirby,Mario,Link (from Legend of Zelda),Whip It noises, cold noises, normal bongo noises and toy noises.

Gameplay

To play Donkey Konga, you whack a side of the bongo(yellow for left, red for right),or both sides(pink),or clap depending on what's on the screen. You play along with your choice of 31 different songs and three different difficulties. There are 6 main modes,Street Performance, where you play to get coins,DK Town, where you spend the coins that you got in Street Performance on Mini Games and Hard music and to change settings,Challenge, where you try to pass as many songs in a row,Battle, where two people see who is better(you need 2 bongoes),Jam session, where up to four people play(you need as many bongoes as people)and Ape Arcade, where youplay the mini games you buy from the DK Town (the mini games aren't very good).
